When I heard what he said I thought exactly the same as you. He is monumentally self unaware.

I do feel depending on the city game at anfield, if city win no

But we'll be top of the league at christmas, even if we drop pts in a few games which we will.

I predict the gap will be closer, after a rough dec but we'll still be top.

Don't lose to city, top of league at christmas, how I see it.

Hopefully the change of intensity under Arne means we won't hit a brick wall at some point as we did on occasion with Klopp. The most extreme was scoring 7 at Palace over Xmas in 20/21 then 2 months plus of horrendous home form.

Don't forget that playing catch up, even after only 10 games is an easier pressure than being top

It's nice remembering too that, whilst Man City are our main concern, there is a big match coming in Nottingham Forest v Arsenal.

A draw in that game could leave us 11 points ahead of both, provided we beat Southampton.

An encouraging thought. When we won the League we did so by getting out of the blocks early and being seemingly impossible to catch. The thought that we could get the fight out of a side like Arsenal before it's even Christmas is one to relish, so hopefully we can keep our foot down.

Just keep winning games and some of the others will wilt.

Arsenal need to be pretty much perfect now. 9 points behind Liverpool and 4 behind City is a big ask to catch. It's not beyond them but it's going to be tough.

They’ll handle it I feel. They will probably land a finisher this January too.
