If it’s true he actually changed his mind at the last minute and decided against joining us, I think that’s a big red flag for me… I suspect he has his eyes on a switch to guess who ….

Tbh on that basis, I am not really that interested, even if we did manage to buy him, I think we will just be considered a convenient stepping stone rather than a final destination.. 🤨

    Swap deal with Trent?
That would leave us a bit short in defence.

If Slot wants Touchameni and he's available in January, why not ?

I suspect the very same. We'll find out sooner rather than later.

I immediately have suspicions about any player that starts to or is rumoured to be 'fluttering their eyelashes' in the direction of the two Spanish monstrosities, particularly Real Madrid. The latter have just lost Militao to a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament with involvement of both menisci in his right leg.

I'd like us to sniff out someone with some untapped potential who would appreciate being plucked from obscurity, but I know that's a very difficult to do. Some would say we've done that with Gravenberch.

I know it's not football manager, but would it be such a bad idea to sign Benjamin Šeško and sell Nunez?

I think we should keep Nunez. he offers so much more.. sure hes not the greatest of finishers. but he offers us a lot in the sense of keeping defenders on their toes.. I think the person under the biggest threat right now is Jota.. I know that sounds crazy..and he won't actually go.. but hes always injured.. obviously no fault of his own..other than appearing to have brittle bones.

Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo, 31, is in high demand as the Japan international continues to struggle for game time at Anfield, with AC Milan, Fulham, Wolves and Ipswich all interested. (Caught Offside)

We do need another midfielder whether or not Endo leaves. But not a bargain buy to please the owners, a starter.
