Not to me, he was off it today but he puts everything into playing for Scotland & is often one of our most jaded returning from international duty as a consequence

That was a blatant dive for their own too, he initiated contact with Robbo’s leg, was looking to go over it

And we keep rolling on... don't worry FSG salah obviously doesn't deserve a new contract.

beat city, 11 pts ahead can't see them coming back from that, even we can't screw that up so easy.

If we win next weekend we will more than likely have a 9 point lead. This is a 4 horse race not 2.
Having just seen our defensive performance I still think talk of the title is over optimistic. We very rarely steamroller even bottom 3 teams. Keep hovering up the points for now though

I don't think chelsea will be close, maybe next season

We will be 11 pts ahead of city if we win.

we've conceded 8 goals in 12 games, defense is not dodgy, today it might have been, but that's just one game.

Only once has a team had a bigger lead after 12 games and that was Manchester United. Clear by nine, they went on to win the title in the 1993-94 season.

Two other teams have led by eight points at this stage - Manchester City in 2017-18 and Liverpool in 2019-20 - and both were also crowned champions.

Liverpool's haul of 31 points from the opening 12 matches has only been equalled or bettered 10 times in Premier League history. Eight of those clubs went on to win the title, with only Arsenal in 2022-23 and Newcastle in 1995-96 not celebrating at the end of the season after such an impressive start.

    Mad.

Tyler Dibling looks a great prospect , when's allison back? we do miss him despite the results..

but yeah when southampton go down, someone will sign DIbling, he's quality, 18 years old. had the better of us by the looks of it. same with Delap & Ipswich wouldn't mind if we signed either tbh delap will be a lot better than nunez in my opinion

but dibling is not the midfielder we need as we have Szob& Jones&Elliot in the more "attacking mid" area

As good as Southampton were on the counter attack, can someone explain to me why we don't do, what every other club do, and stop these attacks with a professional foul…

For their first goal, as much as Robbo’s tackle was clearly not a penalty, why drop off and then tackle right on the edge of the box, rather than just make the tackle higher up the pitch…there was plenty of cover so at worst it was a yellow card and free kick and at best a clean tackle…

For the second goal, when the young lad was on the byeline all Szobo needed to do was just take the man out and take the booking, problem solved …unfortunately he didn't and from that point on it was just a catalogue of poor decisions by all our defenders, ending up with Southampton having an unmarked player only 12 yards out receiving the ball with only the keeper to beat… ffs Sunday league shit…

We need to stop being so fucking nice all the time, and just know instinctively when we need show a bit more bite…rather than always trying to win the ball cleanly without ever fouling the opposition..

Rafa was the last time we had bite throughout the side... .. well that and when Luis was around.. A Mascherano right now would be a huge bonus.. Worried about both fb positions tbh though
