Get the win no excuses!
Yet another big game today.. need to keep winning...3-1 to us..
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Can't predict this game, I feel like things are going too well
after the madrid game and having a makeshift or knackered defense today is also a worry.
On form of course we should win, this is still man city we're playing though and they did look good before they threw a 3-0 lead away.
I'd normally take a draw but seeing arsenal on fire, and the fact we have newcastle away (who've not been amazing lately tbh but still a very tough game) I think we need to win still & also surely unless we cock it up bigtime, knocks city out the race even this early.
only takes a few bad results, for example against city/newcastle/everton , any 2 never mind 3 to let arsenal right back in if they win there games, and city god forbid they beat us today.
pressure is on city, a draw is no good for them, they need to win really.

He’s going with Szobozlai - Jones on the bench
A draw is fine for us today. City under much more pressure than we are.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.
Liverpool FC Starting XI: Kelleher, Gomez, Van Dijk, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Gakpo, Robertson, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold.
Liverpool Subs: Jaros, Davies, Endo, Nunez, Jones, Elliott, Quansah, Morton, Nyoni.
Liverpool make four changes for this afternoon’s Premier League encounter with Manchester City.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez come in for the injured Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate in defence.
Meanwhile, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai replace Curtis Jones and Darwin Nunez in the XI.
Shankly lives forever. On this day in 1959, Bill Shankly was appointed Reds manager.
Is it though? 7 gap sure doesn't sound as good as 9
Wouldn't be the end of the world but it would be nice to have a safety buffer, win today I think we'll be nicely on top in the new year.
Have a feeling slot doesn't think Quansah is ready, think he rates him but doesn't seem to get much of a look in, not surprised mind obviously when konate&vvd fit no dropping them
If our boys play to 80% of their capabilities today, they'll (hopefully) smash Manc115 to pieces....
Bring it on!!!
