My point is Sid, Gravenberch is going to need a rest sooner rather than later, before he breaks down and injury gives him an enforced rest.
We can’t be resting him in big away games like the next two. He’ll certainly have to sit out the next Champions League game, then the EFL game at Southampton on the 18th of December, whether that will be enough, time will tell.

    I'd start Endo v Everton

No fee no big salary, all smiles in Boston
Looks like he's getting trained to replace Trent on the right. lols.

we can always extend nat phillips contract and keep him as backup at CB instead of Quansah

I mean he barely plays for newly promoted derby, but that's not the point as the song goes..... money talks

Yeah i know, we'll surely rest him for both girona/lille and that saints game and hopefully an easy FA cup R3 game and sub him as early as poss in league games. It was encouraging that we made the Zuba move so at least the club are planning to have more than 1 specialist in that role. Although Optus commentator 2day mentioned he was great at 6,8 and 10 so he may still start games with another proper 6 bought.

I get your point, but I genuinely think we can - you may disagree (absolutely fine) but we have depth - and especially against Everton. I know it's a derby and "form goes out the window yadda yadda" but they are a poor, poor side at present.

We could use Endo in there, we could go with a Mac+Jones+Szoboszlai - we definitely have that option.

Endo certainly isn't a Regista-mould, but he has enough about him to be one of a three-man Gravless midfield against Everton.

Newcastle of course I would far rather he played, but if Slot fielded a midfield of Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Jones I'd be fine with it.

Then once we reach January we have the option of exploring the market, or continuing as we are if all's going well or the right players aren't available.

Baldy showing how poor he is when he doesn’t have the advantage of a fully fit squad with 2 top players in every position

Do you still think we’re two CBs and a DM short this season?

It was all doom and gloom in the summer. F$G OUT!!

It's amazing how quiet those loons have got since the season started.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

Another great day following the Reds.
This Arne fella has taken Jurgens boys to another level, As they seem to be able to manage 90 minutes better now.
Plus the Dutch lads are playing at a different level, Cody had Kyle Walker on toast all day ,von the ground and in the air. He was targeted rightly so all day.
