They deserved that to be fair....
It felt like a Madrid/City hang over
The draw was thanks to mo
There was 2 incidents that stick in my mind out of the entire evening of BIAS refereeing. Nunez and Trent get booked for fuck all. The ball went down to the far corner of Newcastles area.. Salah was taken out.. nothing given.. the ball went down the field and that diving shit Gordon was through on goal.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Pretty fucked off given the Kelleher mistake and the card-happy refereeing performance, but we could have easily lost that.
That may yet end up being seen as a valuable point in time. To be 7 points clear (3-game swing) rather than 6 points clear is that tiny crumb to hold onto.
We absolutely can't have a first half like that against a buoyed Everton at the weekend.
That was incredibly bad from us tonight, it really was. Without Mo’s brilliance we get an absolute towsing tonight.
And unfortunately for Kelleher, as good as he has been, that’s his ticket to the bench right there.
We need to get a goal scorer in January to consolidate our position because Darwin cannot step up...
We scored 3 brilliant goals. Out of their scores the first was a top strike built on the momentum given to them by the ref.
Then the third was a howler from Kelleher aided by Trent switching off and letting the man past him. Those won't happen every game thankfully
Take the point and move on. The schedule has caught up with us a bit despite the highs of last week.
Remember the frustration of Goodison last season and channel it into getting the 3 points on Saturday.
Nunez can’t start again , hopefully chiesa can get fit and add depth . Salah tonight showed the absolute levels of this game, without him we are in big trouble , Nunez I thought was woeful tonight .
