Might need another favour from Neverton as they play Chelsea at home next week. Londoners can be top if they win at home to Brentford tomorrow and win at Goodison before we kick off at Spurs.

FT 2-2 wheels are coming off due to lack of quality options at CB & Slot refusing to learn & adapt

Groundhog Day EVERY FUCKING GAME of being too easy to play through & teams exploiting Slot’s 4231 & Trent as they did too many times in 18-19 before Jurgen brought Henderson in at RCM & made it a 3 in midfield every game

Fucking hard watching history & the same patterns repeating themselves & fuck all being done about it

I have a huge feeling we are gonna win the league.. over the last 19 games of a the season. i dont think anyone could cope with us.. But we won't win the league mind. because of officials. they are bent.. some of the calls today were laughable and one linesman kept ignoring offsides against Fulham

The Kelleher clanger is the real kick in the teeth. Those were 2 needlessly dropped points.

Today ended up being a good point. We were poor even with 11.

Well they scored the time after that and it wasn't because he was in an attacking position, it was because he blew up his assignment.
At that point he wasn't playing the inverted role. He was supposed to be defending and even if we take accept your argument that he wasn't in a position to cover Iwobi in the first phase, then what was the excuse for not tracking back to help defend the middle?
Yet another thing he's done repeatedly, and criminally so in a game in which we're a man down.
    What's the excuse for that?
If you wanna blame Trent for today go ahead. It’s laughable. 10 men and he is asked to be the hybrid at the back/midfield to play two roles. At 78 mins a player gets away from midfield from him and beats fresh Quansah to cross to Gomez’s man. He was subbed a
bit later because it wasn’t working and he was obviously knackered. See whatever you want. Idc if he ends up going to RM or not. But I know we are generally better with him.

Robbo is done as a starter. End of story

Glad the BS did something right in our favour for once and snatched the point at Arsenal.
I don't imagine Brentford will do us any favours against Chelsea tomorrow.

On the one hand I'm glad we clawed our way back into it to salvage the draw - especially being a man down for most of the game.

But on the other hand I can only lament the drop of points at a time when we could have created more distance between ourselves and Arsenal at least, who dropped points, and however the Manchester derby pans out tomorrow.

Sadly those two dropped points are courtesy of our starting fullbacks both of whom need replacing.
One of those seems set to take care of itself in the summer, bu jetting off to sunny Spain.

Quansah, like Darwin at the front, is running out of chances to make the case for continue to play in that red shirt in this team.
At the moment he simply doesn't look the part.
And speaking of the front line it's great to have DioGoals back, and he instantly shows what we've been missing (and what Darwin should have been doing all this time) with his goal to get us back into the game coming back from injury.
Elliot also looked good and we looked much more dangerous when the two of them came on and you have to wonder if Slot should have brought them in earlier.

Wheels coming off after 2 draws?

I do agree about lack of cb options. We should signed a cb 2 years ago, never mind last summer.

Brentford have been fantastic at home but absolutely useless away from the Community Stadium, so don't go expecting Chelsea to drop any points tomorrow.

Today wasn’t a good point it was the same easy to play through allowing overloads on our right too many players moving into space not enough picking up bollocks we’ve seen every game & like last season & in 18-19 for the same fucking reasons we can’t keep coming back from this shit

Rather than have both Sloppy & Jones getting well ahead of Gravenberch looking to be in space just fucking play our way into games with 4312 with our No9 dropping in, better picking up while being placed to also make a run off the player they’re picking up to be released

    It is THAT fucking simple

We keep losing it & the opposition have 4 or 5 players they can release with two of our mids in no man’s fucking land it’s fucking amateur hour I thought Slot liked to press & counter press

These players know how to pick up a player when not involved if needed in an attack but to be ready to get involved or be released moving off their player

Slot needs to sort it & quickly

He's been subbed late in games how many times this season?
But it's not his fault, right?
    It's never his fault.

Funny how he's the only one that seems to get "knackered" and needs to get subbed late in games,...persistently and repeatedly.
Nothing at all to do with the fact that he's a glaring liability in our team.

The times that Fulham looked most dangerous or had any control going forward was always, ALWAYS when they sent the ball down to his flank. Every single time.
    And not just them.
Every team is onto this weakness in our defense and our team and that's where they get most joy attacking us.

How anyone intimates "we're generally better with him" is beyond me at this point when it's clear that Conor is a far superior defender (you know,...the thing they should be doing first and foremost as fullbacks?), and when he (Trent) has games like today where his delivery and passes are trash (and we didn't even talk about the multiple times he gave the ball away with careless passes), he's practically useles, and a passenger at best.

I mean, honestly in your heart of hearts, do you ever imagine Trent could have made the tackle that Conor made on Mbappe in the Champions League game,.....versus what we all know would likely have happened with Mbappe beating him for pace and possibly going down to score?

His corners were all trash today, none his crosses found their man, but no,..."we're generally better with him".

    Okay.
Let's keep defending the indefensible (....and really,...the "incapable of defending").
If only he put in as much effort in actually defending on the pitch as some of his defenders do in defending him in the fandom.
