Trents last tuppence was he wanted to see the club match his ambitions.
Constantly challenging for the big titles at LFC, and currently top of the leagues with the club that made his dreams come true.
Personally I'd like to see the club anounce contracts will only be signed during the transfer windows, January/Summer and not for comment in-between.
That was in response to any short career references
If Trent is intent on leaving for Real then sell him tomorrow then take him back on loan until the end of the session.
It is a short career playing wise. Maybe he thinks this is his last chance to go to Madrid. If he signs on again he won't get a chance to go there. So he is going now. Fucks us over as he is going for free but he is 26. So another 4 years with us and he doesn't get to experience Madrid.
Why he wants to go to Madrid instead of staying at his boyhood club. That's only something he would know. But somoen on here (I think Steveo) has often said, very few turn down Madrid. Unfortunatly this may be the case with trent.
If course right now, nothing is done so we are all just projecting because of a Madrid bid.

The most important thing for @LFC in 2025 is winning the #PremierLeague
No one’s contract or future should come in the way of that!
I love Trent as a lad & a player, but his team would’ve told Real Madrid to bid & also would’ve known LFC would turn it down.
It’s to try & cover themselves when he leaves for free.
Again it’s something the club/fans don’t need with a huge game coming up.
Exactly how I see it.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.
