    Team News

    • James Maddison and Pape Sarr are banned, though Spurs welcome Rodrigo Bentancur back following a suspension.

    • Fraser Forster is unlikely to feature due to illness, while Radu Dragusin was forced off at half time on Saturday and it remains to be seen whether he'll recover here.

    • A further six players remain sidelined due to injury but Richarlison and Mikey Moore have returned to training, which is a boost for the home side.

    • Spurs signed goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky on Sunday, and having been granted a work permit on Monday, the Czech shotstopper may make his debut here.

    • Arne Slot is without Joe Gomez and Dominik Szoboszlai due to injury and illness, respectively.

    • Slot is expected to make changes to his XI, with the likes of Federico Chiesa, Darwin Nunez and Wataru Endo all set to start.

    Prediction

    • Tottenham's winless run extended to four on Saturday as they crashed to a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle. The north London side face Liverpool at home for the second time this season and will hope for a much improved performance having lost 6-3 to the Reds last month.

    • Liverpool were unable to make home advantage count as they played out a 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Sunday. Nevertheless, Arne Slot's side have been nigh-on unstoppable away from home this season, winning all but two of 14 matches on their travels.

    • The Reds have won their last four on the road, a run they should extend in what could prove an entertaining game at Tottenham on Wednesday.

    Tottenham 2-4 Liverpool

    Predicted line up for us

    Nunez
    Gakpo Jones Chiesa
    MacA Endo
    Tsimi VVD Konate Bradley

I'd prefer to ease Konate back from injury and start with Quansah. Mo could also start and I'd rather Jota than Nunez
