Well that's correct but it doesn't address the point that he was generally happy with the backing he received.

As has been mentioned before - it’s called artificial intelligence for a reason.

"If I don't want a player to come here then he will not come. If a player I want doesn't fit our budget then he will not come. It's a normal situation." -- Jurgen Klopp

What's the old saying about common sense not being so common.

Anyway let's not have MAGA derail another thread into F$G OUT drivel. The forum is littered with that already (any mods around?).

    I totally agree with OP

    Breathe it in. Enjoy it.
Good advise for the semi-final tonight.

The last 5 games in the League we have won 3 and drawn 2 - Arsenal have done exactly the same. Five matches played (quarter of their League games) and they have gained zero ground on us - there's comfort to be had in that. Speaking further on Arsenal, it's 40 points after 20 games - I don't see a 90-pointer from them this season and that definitely helps our cause.
Just two very quick little notes on this.

First of all, whilst it's only 2 League games later, it's good to see that Arsenal haven't gained ground and that the lead we established remains, even if there are little swings in either direction. As before, over the last 5 League games, both sides have won 3 and drawn 2 - so hopefully we keep that up. It's nice to see that points are being dropped and that we don't have to be "perfect" at the moment.

Second, that 90-pointer comment. Right now Arsenal have 16 left to play and it would take them winning all 16 of those matches to reach a tally of 92 points. I don't think we will have to wait many weeks for that max possible total to drop into the high 80s unless they find something really special.

It looks good at the moment. Hopefully the picture looks similar two more League games from now. If we continue to get decent results, we will reach that magical stage where we are counting down the weeks as Arsenal will start to run out of games within which to catch us.

    Exactly

So here’s where we actually stand at this stage.

If we continue accruing points at the same rate as we have so far, we will reach 91 points and remember we have dropped points in 6 games out of the 21 played.

If Arsenal win all 16 of their remaining games, they reach 92.

That’s going to have to be one hell of a swing in their favour, we don’t need to be perfect, just keep going at the same pace and not lose to Arsenal at Anfield
