If playing fantasy football, what positions would you strengthen this window (if any).

The only position that makes me nervous is centre back.

Sure if someone comes in with a reasonable bid for Nunez and a suitable replacement is available then I’d consider it but I think we are fairly well stacked in all other positions.

I'd add a centeback & only release other players if replacements of sorts are coming in. Want to keep the squad together till the end of the season minimum. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Like yourself, there's only 1 VVD, so I'd buy another Matip/Konate to cover 2 positions in the 1st team. Gomez can play/cover centreback and both fullback positions. Quansah 5th choice all fit, and due for the cup games. Developing.

Left back, both criminally underrated imo generally, but this season both have struggled for fitness & form. Can see a summer move for a left back.
Would not be shocked if one arrived this window, though I'm not betting on it, doubt either Tsimi or Robbo are leaving this January window.

6 Zubimendi in say, Endo leaves, or Morton goes out on loan and Endo is moved on in the summer.

Appreciating Nunez this season. Is like appreciating Sobozla, both massive for applying pressures. Off the ball kings.

LB for me too. I'd like to put Robertson's brain in a 24 Yr old LBs body and think we'd be fine.

For all the good off the ball work that Nunez does, he has just as many examples of missing a good opportunity or ruining an attack being being stupidly offside, and the latter point has got no better since he arrived. Time to cut our losses.

    I've identified
    A centre back in January
    Tsimi/Robbo
    Endo/Morton

With some uncertainty around, Mo, VVD & Trent. I'd limit our activity/departures for now.

Last year Nunez goals & assists per minute were competitive. The big issue, big chances missed. Last year Darwin had 27 big chances missed in the PL, Mo has 14 this season to date to Darwins 3. How many times has big chances missed by Mo get a mention.
This year the CF role is different. He works his arse off & is regularly available. This season he's had 2.56 XG in the league, scored 2 and missed 3 big chances.

When you look at our attack & XG this year, it's essentially a Salah v the rest of our attackers situation.
    Salah
    v
Diaz, Gakpo, Jota & Nunez, and Chiesa.

It's worth bearing in mind that last year when Salah was absent due to injury our attack showed up. The stats suggest that's not surprising.

We definitely need a good - top quality LB, CB and DM. A RB would be a bonus, namely depending on whether TAA leaves or not.

We could also do with getting in a young, good quality forward given that Nunez could well be on his way out of the club, Jota is made of glass, whilst Mo one way or another isn't going to be with us for too much longer.

Liverpool defender Calvin Ramsay is on the brink of completing a loan move to Kilmarnock for the remainder of the season.

Ramsay spent the first half of the campaign at Wigan but returned to Anfield last week.

That's 3 clubs he's been loaned out to, Preston NE, Bolton Wanderers & Wigan Athletic, and played a total of 13 games in a 3 loans...
Hopefully things go better at Killie for the lad...

And he’s right on this. The Echo is a mouthpiece for the Boston Globe owner. They have become a joke. I swear they have a few minions in here.
