They play in the champions league on Wednesday which they need to win to guarantee top 8. otherwise they'll have two extra fixtures.. Then they are way to Wolves on the weekend. they are fighting for their lives..
won't be easy back to back like that.. we SHOULD rest players since we are almost 99,99% guaranteed top 8
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

They play Villa at 5.30 Saturday at Emirates this weekend. Won't be easy but they don't lose at home. Only unbeaten side left in the league at home.
Difficult to see Wolves getting anything despite them from fighting for survival.

Exactly all down to ourselves, just need to keep winning ourselves and it doesn’t matter what the others do.

Brentford have been ok at home but they only have their two lively forwards Wissa and Mbueno, the rest are bang average

Absolutely f**king this, so often a voice of reason.

Here we are, in a title challenge, with a Manager who is enjoying his first season with us. A season many Reds were entering with nervous trepidation and a fear that we were likely finishing between 4th and 6th. A club Legend having departed and quiet whisperings that we might get knocked back 3-5 years in terms of our progress as a club with his departure.

Instead, we would all be mightily disappointed if we don't finish the season with at least one trophy.

Most sides have played 21 games now - if we can't win a 17-game League with a 4-point head-start and a game in hand, with our nearest challengers having to come to Anfield in the closing stages of the season, then something is seriously wrong.

Buckle up, strap in and into business mode.

Do you think we "need" some additions Sid?

Villa won there last season and whilst not at last season's level could probably get a draw there.
Arsenal pretty much bullied Spurs tonight and we're helped by Ange having to select some rookie youngsters again. I think Arteta and his team are good at being flat track bullies like that. If other teams stand up to them the cracks start to show mentally. That's why they haven't managed a statement win at Anfield or the Etihad in the 3 years now of challenging fir the title.

Lets have some context here, Arsenal beating Spurs at home is no shock especially when you consider we beat them at Spurs 6-3…

It’s all part of the dance, points gained here, points lost there… lets just breathe and move on and enjoy the journey..

    In January?

    Personally, no.

Would I welcome Robertson's successor at left-back right now? Yes I would - but "need" in January - no. We've come this far.

Do we need additions in the Summer? Absolutely yes.

We are in a position no one thought would happen, so let's enjoy. Liverpool are going to be champions. Arsenal supporters are tense about the situation, we shouldn't also become unnecessarily tens, players can feel it. We have tough game left, they have tough games left, but we have 4pt cushion. Games in hand are not points, but we are in a healthy position.
