Sadly hes going to leave.. WHY? because theres an impasse and neither side will budge..
If Salah and his agent are asking too much then thats fair enough. otherwise some compromise should happen. But with how they run the club its unlikely.

A prominent Saudi Arabian adviser has posted an image of Mohamed Salah in the Al Hilal kit that has since gone viral.
AI is getting very impressive now. Looks genuine to my old eyes.

I could careless about Trent leaving. Hes been shit in recent months.. secondly he can't defend and his body language is terrible. lets hope he can be bothered for the next 4/5 months. and stop booting the ball anywhere and concentrate on helping us win the league

Of the three, I now expect the most likely to stay and probably sign first will be Virgil.
He has every reason to not want to go anywhere else with a Dutch manager and a mostly Dutch technical staff alongside his two Dutch national teammates and his legacy in the club all but assured.
Mo, despite his being very open about voicing his frustrations with not seeing any progress in the contract negotiations, I still believe will re-sign because, despite the potential of big-money offers for a next team and contract - particularly from the Middle East - I still think he has a big ego that hes driven more by. And because of that he's more driven by the likelihood and possibility of cementing his reputation and legacy as not just one of Liverpool's greatest scorers, but also one of the Premier Leagues record leading scorers as well. And leaving us would cut that ambition short.
I still don't think he'll ever get close to catching Shearer's record, but I wouldn't put Rushie's record for LFC out of the question or realm of possibility for him to get.
Taking a big money offer with a Saudi league club assures him a comfortable trajectory to retirement with riches and he'll probably even be a legend there on account of his Arabian/Middle Eastern heritage, but it will never be the same as being a Premier League/European legend.
Between him and the club, I predict he's the one who folds first and accepts their offer, which is why the club is not blinking.
Trent,......honestly,.....I couldn't be bothered if he left.
I know there are some here who believe he makes us a better team. I don't.
Sure, on the games he plays well and has several good passes and crosses he helps the team win, but those games are so rare these days, surrounded instead by the games where he's putrid trash in defense, and as a team we continue to concede the bulk of the goals scored against us from his flank.
It's such a glaring gaping hole in our defense that other teams effectively craft their gameplans around attacking his wing.
Especially if they have a fast or pacy winger or one with some skill who can skin him on one-on-one (which is pretty much the majority of wingers in the league nowadays).
I believe as long as we replace him well with a solid defender who's a "Defend-first" type fullback that can back up Conor, we'll cope just fine without him.
Reports from Spain apparently are that Real have essentially finalized a deal for him and the only question is whether they come back with another offer in this window, or just wait it out until the summer to bring him in on a free.
The urgency of coming for him now might depend on their currently shaky league form and if they believe strengthening now will allow them to challenge Barca and Athletico and retain their La Liga title as well as make another run at another Champions League title.
I don't think he'll be as much help to them as they think he will be, but hey, what do I know?
I just watch him every week.
Just a small reminder (not that we really need reminding) but theres about 15 days left before the window shuts. we have not signed a single player and our 3 main players have not extended their stay..
We are being run by the moomins
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
We are run by business men who have other interests / priorities.
While a portion of the fan base are quiet and support FSG then nothing will happen.
The club is an appreciating asset so as long as top 4 is achieved and the match going fans are happy, they will be happy.
I think its realistic that Salah will go now. I think both sides have agreed. Salah will get a massive deal in Saudi so should be happy with it.. If we win the league.. would be a good way for him to go.. Obviously we will miss his goals. The lad at Brentford.. Mbeumo has a decent record for Brentford.. 1 in 4. and thats in a defensive side..
There are players out there. Saying all that.. I hope Salah stays.. but i can't see it happening. Out of the 3 Virgil is the only player to stay..

Welcome back Kev.
A bit early, but hey-ho.
You're spot on with FSG. In my honest opinion.
We're a cash cow. There's been loads of discussion over the merits of FSG.
If we lose one or more of our trio, then that shows clearly they don't give a monkeys about the future of the club.
