He’s actually addressed that & improved it & we’re no longer getting countered on as easy although it still can be an issue when both Jones & Sloppy start as both are often employed as the furthest forward with Gravenberchio & Macca & as a consequence both get too far up at the same time leaving gaping gaps

Seems to be mixing it up & using the switches more too because he does adapt & adjust

It seems most teams in the Dutch league try & play football so he had to adjust to how a lot of teams set up against us & new ways they do to counter his way of playing A lot of prem teams set up to work set plays in open play

Still the continuity & evolution candidate seems to be rapidly improving in the big league

Hindsight is easy & some wanted Salah listed and replaced with Antony… Remember that?

Alonso might have had a 100% win record had he come in - so too Amorim - nobody can say how much is down to what Klopp built and instilled in the group. It’s still 100% Klopp’s team. Not a single incoming player bar Chiesa who’s spent more time at Midnight mass than in the first team.. 😜

Don’t forget - Slot wasn’t the clubs first choice either. By all accounts Salah was rumoured to be a second choice target for Klopp.

Perhaps - just perhaps the reality is that the group so wonderfully built and managed by Jurgen is just reaping the reward of playing a less high intensity, higher quality game / possibly due to better use of slightly better technicians?

Ah yes, the miracle worker theory.

Perhaps - just perhaps Jurgen did a great job and Slot is also doing a great job. We're currently the best team in the world. You'd think fans, especially the glory hunters, would enjoy that. Instead we have idiots trying to downplay Slot and giving all the praise to a manager who is no longer here. We'd be much better off without that section of our fanbase.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

Can't remember tbh, but they would probably do a good job here.... can't really judge utds manager because it's utd.... and alonso has been great.

Instead of enjoying the season we're having and smashing it you're still fucking moaning about something and discrediting slot... like wtf? what does he have to do, to please lord 19x? win every game 5-0?

I’m not discrediting my man Slot he’s doing great of course it’s a learning curve because it’s a big step up & teams & officials behave very differently in the Prem especially where we’re concerned

So Arne recorded his 25th win as Liverpool manager, which is the amount John McKenna mustered during his tenure. McKenna, who has the highest win percentage of any Liverpool manager not named Arne Slot, got his 25 wins in 36 games - Arne has done it in 32.....

Next on the win list William Barclay (our first manager) with a total of 52....

Slot is doing a fantastic job - and I really like him, but never forget.

The Club and squad that Klopp inherited on his arrival, when compared to the Club, squad and legacy he left on his departure are just unrecognisable…. Klopp’s journey and legacy will never be forgotten and the context of his achievements are without doubt second to none…

In Klopps last year it was clear that he had amassed the most talented squad of his tenure, the starting 11 maybe not on the same level as the Title winning 11, but the squad overall so much better on all levels..

I think some pundits and rival fans don't really understand and appreciate how difficult Klopps journey was, trying to compete with Man City and Real Madrid with such limited resources and from such an incredibly low starting point …

I think what many people now fail to recognise is that in Klopps final season, he had completely rebuilt the midfield and despite this he still managed to challenge on all four fronts right until the last stages, extensive injuries ultimately cost us dear along with some much discussed Refereeing moments, but also that new midfield was still finding its feet and developing an understanding both on and off the field.

This season that midfield is far more settled, and it’s this along with Slot moving Gravenberch into the No6 which was an inspired decision is one of the reasons for Slots success in the season so far….

However, following Klopp was always going to be a tough gig and getting the squad on board was also going to be equally difficult, when you then factor in having to tweak the playing style from the organised midfield chaos of Klopps tactics to Slots preferred more cultured and considered midfield approach is also very impressive…

In defence of Klopp, he never had at his disposal during his time at LFC as technical a midfield squad that Slot inherited, so I am sure if Klopp had stayed, I am confident he would have probably adopted a similar midfield transition, but saying that what Slot has done this season is just Elite coaching at its best and I am sure now Klopp sits back and just watches from afar with nothing but admiration and pride for Slots tenure to date….

Fingers crossed Slot can maintain this amazing performance curve start and finish it off with ideally a Premier League Title and maybe another trophy… fingers crossed eh…

    So far so brilliant Arne…
