I would be very surprised if anyone comes in this window.
At best we can hope that the new contracts are announced for the three amigos

Really hope we make a signing always thinks it gives a squad a gee up.....doing some quick maths think we are guarnteed 50m from champions league even if we went out next round which is some return. If we got a good run to semis or final it would cover whatever loss we had from missing out last season

Definitely agree with losing the allure Klopp is going to have an impact on bringing players in, how can it not! But only up to a certain point. As long as we're at the top of the game and playing Champions League football we'll continue to attract players. I still think, as we are, we'd be in with a chance of signing most players outside of Madrid, Barca due to their history and City, Chelsea and PSG due to their money.
The problems will arise if/when we drop out and can't get back in good time. A few misteps in the transfer window and we'll be right back to where we were.
Klopp was definitely the spark and driving force for everything good about the club but if we believe that he and only managers like him are the only reason for success then we may as well pack it up from here on in, as there are probabaly only 2 or 3 managers on the planet that could do/carry on as you're suggesting, so we'd be knackered no-matter when Jurgen decided to leave.
The bonus is that we're staring from a far better position. We don't need someone to come in and spark a revolution like Jurgen. We need someone to evolve what we have. We need to continue to spot and sign the 'right' players and have a manager that can develop them.

It's partly klopp and partly the other players here + fan/history.
If we lose 2/3 of the amigos what does that tell others who are considering taking a slight wage reduction over another club?
Each top club has pros and cons but ultimately money talks.
I just don't understand the club sometimes, it's clear we'd need a player or two from the start of the season, they should have been working on it... especially if they want to be tight arses.
Remember the difference Diaz made?
Not winning the title this season will be devastating to the players and imo we will struggle for 4the next season unless we spend alot. Even if FSG amazingly do that, we likely will come 2nd.
But that IS the reality. If you think back to October 2015 and that squad.. Klopp stays on holiday and or goes to United when his sabbatical is over. Perish the thought and thank fook for Ulla... but who would bet that we win our only title since 1990 over the last 10 years?? Would take a very brave individual.
We have had one - just one - top level manager post Kenny walking in 1991 and pre Klopp.. Rafa Benitez and he was never backed sufficiently - but even he almost got us there... with FFS Parry FFS.
I know it's not easy to come to terms with.. but the truth is not always easy to digest.

Totally agree. As I said, Klopp lit the spark and without him, we're not the club we are now. Absolutely.
If we sign the same players we did under his tenure then I think we'd get close with a good manager (like Rafa). Maybe not enough to topple City, but it wouldn't have been a fight for CL places.
If Klopp had taken over United and they'd signed the same players they have over the last 10 years then I dont think he'd magically be able to replicate what he did with us. I also don't think they'd be as crap as they have been over the last 10 years mind.
As mentioned the team that he left us with is far, far better than the one he inherited. Evoluton not revolution.
Good recruitment - Good players - Good manager. I dont think you can be genuinely successful without all three.

No one wants Musk in control of our club. Imagine the air fare to Mars to watch LFC play... No thanks. Beside with lack of gravity the ball will fly further. Arteta would have kittens if we played them there.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Indeed.
If Sturridge and Coutinho can come in 12/13 and Suarez's deal can have been in motion when Hodgson was the Manager, then I don't see how we will be unable to attract players in the Summer when we have potentially won a couple of trophies and will be in the Champion's League.
Indeed, Firmino came in under Rodgers and he was part of that incredible front three.
I guess we'll see. I think we have a pretty good blend where a player would come in and think "yes, I will have other talent to share the pitch with" but we are also not SO stacked that a player with a bit of an ego (in a good way) might think "yeah - I can be one of the best at this club" - which I think would appeal to a certain profile.
Guess we'll see.
