And nobody in here talking about it - BUT last night was a disgrace. Zero atmosphere - like a proper 100% tourist club.

I tell you now - FSG will be the death of LFC if they remain in situ for another decade. They are killing the soul of the club. How many locals under 50 were at that game last night? What percentage of the crowd?

They already have in many ways. America in general is ruining the game just like they've ruined concert going. It's becoming an elite/wealthy hobby and genuine fans were priced out eons ago.
Last night there was a lot of tickets available on fan groups some going for face value, maybe the crowd had a lot of fans who can't get there much which could explain the quiet atmosphere. Fans have to pick and choose now due to the sheer expense of the whole thing.
Not much riding on it and not a big team too adding to the lack of atmosphere which isn't an excuse but I'd imagine fairly normal for any club.

As a matter of interest, what fan groups were the tickets available on?
I've been trying to get hold of tickets for any game but haven't been to a match for probably 10+ years.

There's two on Facebook. One is called Libpool tickets ( that's not a spelling mistake) he only gets hospitality tickets but much less than face value and there's one called LFC tickets group. That one has a WhatsApp group and there was lots of tickets going through n there. They're both decent lads.
The Libpool one has bonus ball comps for tickets now and then.

It's ridiculously difficult now. In the days of paper tickets it was easy but now with e-tickets it's much more difficult and obviously the demand has increased massively. The club membership thing is absolutely shite, I've never had one ticket from that in the years I've used it albeit on and off.
