    Liverpool Vs Bournemouth starting 11

    ________________Alisson______________
    Trent_____Konate_____Virgil_____Roberston
    ___Gravenberch_Mac Allister___Szoboszlai
    Salah___________Diaz________Gakpo

I think its obvious who the 11 is gonna be..Robertson will start at LB since he was taken off early, last evening..
If we can win, will take us 9 points ahead of Arsenal until they play on the Sunday. the pressure will immense , They will have to beat City . A draw will be no good to them
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

It's a tough game for us. Bournemouth have shown some decent form recently.

Quite a lot of Bournemouth fans think they can or will turn us over.

So does Roy Keane and to be fair, they are the form team in the League, with no European distractions

It'll be a tough game but they actually play football so hopefully that will work in our favour rather than playing against a shithouse team who put 11 behind the ball and try to hit us on the break.
They are a really good team but like Justme says the chance to go 9 clear needs to be taken. If we do manage to win and they drop points against City it's a massive advantage for us. We've had a full weeks rest, the first in a while so hopefully we're fresh.

Bournemouth are on a long unbeaten run and their last match ended with a 5-0 win so they have had all week to bask in the belief that they can beat us. Unfortunately for them all unbeaten runs have to end and stats show that a thumping 5-0 win in the premier league is usually followed by a shite result in the next match. (unless you are Spurs, bizarrely)

We on the other hand let in that all important soft goal against Ipswich to take the shine off our win and guard against complacency and keep us hungry, we're coming off the back of losing our last match and we are going to be like a wounded animal I tell ya.

I was also thinking that it could be a good thing that we're playing a team that likes to attack. We tend to struggle the most when playing teams who are resolute and well organised at the back.

The only caveat to us being more suited to playing teams who are more attack minded is that we're currently vulnerable in the wide positions. Other teams have previously targeted those areas. You can bet your bottom dollar that Bournemouth will do the same.

I think Forest, prior to the game with Bournemouth, were buoyed by their form and probably believed they were better than they actually are, Bournemouth scored first and as a result Forest felt that all they had to do was open up to try and get back into the game, and as a result they exposed themselves naively at the back and Bournemouth just clinically picked them off…

Hopefully, we score first early doors and Bournemouth just fall into the same trap as Forest and we just pick them off… unlikely but let’s hope so, because the last thing we need is for Bournemouth to score first…. because that would be a real drama, and given their form to date… they would end up being a tough nut to crack…

This game is a real biggie and given the fact that Arsenal are also playing City this weekend, I do have a sneaky feeling that City will beat Arsenal and whilst on the one hand that will be great, the last thing we want to do is give either Arsenal or City a sniff.

We just need to ensure we keep our foot firmly on the throats of our nearest rivals… regardless of any lead we might have…

See, call me a pessimist but I view Arsenal at home to City as more of a banker for the Arse, than away at Bournemouth is for us.

Let’s hope my stance, however irrational it may be, is proven wrong.
