It does. It doesn't take anything away from Salah's achievements, or the farnkly daft numbers the likes of Messi and Ronaldo have put up over the years but it does make it quite hard for comparisons.
It would be interesting if we could drop 70s and 80s teams directly into today's game and see how the players would react to it all. And visa versa, having today's players playing in the 70s. Like, just literally take them from one era to another.
Fair to say there would be a bit of a culture shock from both sides!
