City, 200m in a fucking January transfer window. FFS.
Liverpool two windows in a row. "Sorry Arne,we've got money but there's no value in the market". Ah yeah.

Remains to be seen if City's recent transfers are 'value'...

    That's true enough Bruh'.
Two windows in a row and they've given Slot nothing. They can't keep using that excuse, we are in the same market that everyone else shops in.

It's like that Rolex I want, it costs 7k but I think it's only worth 6k. Maybe it'll come down in price.
    Nah, it's not going to.

There's being frugal and looking for value then there's not backing your manager at all in his first season. We've just banked millions from winning the opening league phase of the CL.

    PS. I don't really want a Rolex.

For all the hype that Hughes came in with, I didn't think we could possibly do worse than the Julian Ward era, and yet here we are.

Not even a lame (pun intended), last-minute crock at the death as has become the norm.

    Shameful.

This is the tragedy of over-achieving managers.
They give these twerps an excuse to say we don't need to spend or reinforce because look what Slot is doing with what he has.
Forgetting that the bottom can fall out just like ...THAT.
(See : Manchester City. And them lot are STILL spending)

Looks a class adoption to me… difficult to come into a side that has lacked any drive at all this season.

Something funny going on with City - I don’t buy that they have just got bored of winning.

Apparently the Morton to Boro move is off....

Ł10m is too low a fee for him, easily worth Ł15-20m.....then again I wouldn't expect many Championship clubs to pay that figure for 1 player....

Carragher said last week that if Liverpool win the league it's on Slot. Whereas if they miss out to Arsenal it's 100% on FSG.
The thing is if we do win the league with how little they've spent they can say "see,it works" and that gets used again as the excuse for not reinforcing.

There's absolutely zero excuses for not one signing over two windows. The value in the market excuse is already a tired one.
I'm not even including Chiesa before anyone points it out. It doesn't count.
