Oh and just 3 touches in the opposition box

We won that's all that matters, as long as we stay 4 pts or so ahead of arsenal by march I think we'll be ok
With city away after villa, I think we need to beat villa.... if we lose to city not end of world.
Arsenals next 6 is pretty easy, forest away maybe but even they're not doing as good.

Well my poor old ticker can’t take much more of that.
I have to say I’m a bit worried about our mental capacity for this run in. I was fairly relaxed at half time expecting a comfortable second 45. Unfortunately the nerves got to everyone on and off the pitch. The tension was palpable. No doubt the Everton game had an impact both physically and mentally, but by god we were struggling. We seem to lack leadership at times. Virgil does his best, TAA might as well be wearing his slippers; his head just isn’t in it.
It’s going to be a very stressful few months.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!
Looking at the games, 4pts lead would be amazing heading into the 28th game of the season
Between the 28th- 34th till we're away to chelsea on 35, (no reason we cant win that either)
But that could easily be 6 straight wins, but yes one game at a time.. but things do get better after this month
let's get the next 3 games over with, we'll drop pts I have no doubt about it, BUT then let's win the next 6 which on paper we should, and see where we are.. and if we've not done the job by time we play arsenal at home, lets do it and rub it in there faces.
I'm not worried about dropping pts in the next fixtures, as long as we make it up in the games afterwards, dream would be after this month to go undefeated win all apart from maybe a draw in a game in the last 10 games, no reason we can't
lets fucking do this.

I think every game is going to be a battle now, regardless of the opposition. it will come down to who's mentally stronger between us and the arse, but we were all over the shop in that last 20 mins. I was sure we were going to throw it away. The anxiety in the stands didn't help either.
I keep waiting for us to turn the corner in terms of performance but it's not looking like happening. We've been pretty abject since the West Ham game before New Year.
A lot of that squad have been through this before so the nerves and anxiety is something I'd hope might drop off.
We seem to have stopped doing the basics again to see games out. I personally don't think we can see the season out playing this way, sooner or later this lull has to end and they need to pick it up again.
We can bring in 4 fresh starters and Konate only had 45, so that’s positive.
Bradley, Tsimikas, Gakpo and Jones can all start on Wednesday that along with Konate is half the outfield team.
Battle-toughened-hard-Arse (my club apparently) after 2 consecutive title races and getting pipped by City.
They’ve had plenty of key players missing for good spells and currently no senior forwards - and like a turd that won’t flush - they just won’t go away.
Maybe they’re in our heads… Maybe Rice’s comments worked their way in there? Gonna be tough
