We can win games (as we did last season) with a midfield of Endo, Mac and Szobo.
Not unless Salah brings the magic.. We aren't creating much with Gav - Macca and Szobozlai - lose one of those and replace with Endo.. And we are all going to be behind the sofa.

Well if it's all down to Salah then it's a bit of moot point whether Endo or Grav plays...

No - come on maaaaaate... You've played football right? The way you talk it sometimes sounds like each player exists on the pitch their own vacuum. Endo is going to mean we are on the front foot far less. More pressure on the back 4 - less breaks from FB..Less chance for the mids to have the time and space to pick out a ball for Mo.

This place is exhausting sometimes. Can see why many just move on.

I know how the game works Steveo. How did we win all of those games last season with Endo in the side? He's not a cabbage.

I still think yesterday's game is more of a hangover from the Everton game rather than a more general malaise within the squad.
That's what Slot said in his presser.

If you burrow down in to the the minutes played, Grav has played a bout 2-3 more games in terms of minutes this season than Rice&Partey.
Both of them have played a lot more minutes in recent seasons, Grav hasn't had that workload prior to this season.
So I'm not sure how people think Grav is goosed and run into the ground.

Outside of Southampton I don't see much rotation in the comings weeks.
It'll be Villa, Cituae then Toon.

Then CL ro 16, Southampton, CL 2nd leg & EFL cup final.

Hopefully the international managers leave a few lads off their squad lists in the March international.

We tailed off badly last season. If any of those squad players being mentioned were that good and reliable we would have won the league last season.

The fact is that Slott doesn't trust them, and quite frankly neither do I. Can they come in for a few minutes here or there, or maybe the odd game and do an okay job? Perhaps. Can they come in for more than that and us continue to play at a high level? Not for me they can't.

Sorry Jozza - but in the politest possible way, from what you keep posting, I would have to say that I am not sure you do. And as a poster you consistently polarise everything to ridiculous levels.

If Someone says we were never the best club side in Europe (technicaly speaking) and we were not - sorry that you don't like it..... Klopp's own words btw...you ask them .. So how did we win those prizes and do so well with a Championship side..?

It's a bore and it's exhausting because anyone with even basic intelligence or indeed any critical thinking at all, knows that one thing does not mean the other. You are suggesting that we won a lot of games with Endo.. Yes we also won a lot of Games with Quansah. We won plenty of games including a Champions League final with Igor Biscan!

So what? Even shyte like Everton who have just won 4 games out of 5 can field players I wouldn't want in my team and win. Just as many other sides with top class individuals lose far too many. That's football.

If we go back to last season..the question you don't ask yourself is WHY then when the injury worries actually subsided - did we fold..? Is it possible that carrying players for a such a stretch took a toll on the players that were playing throughout? I mean nobody knows - It may have been the energy sapping drip drip media BS about Klopp's impending premature departure that did it.. Who knows..

So Endo not being rated by Slot or imo not being good enough for Liverpool Fc - does not mean that he equates with a cabbage - no - absolutely not.. and a great fella too.

Well done you for stating the bleedin obvious.

Of course it's a polerising when it's a difference in opinion, it's the very definition.

I've never said we were the best team in the world. I do think we have and have had a group of players that probably are/were underrated.

I'm simply stating that Endo is a decent player that could play a few games when Grav needs a rest. I'm not saying he's the best in the world or that he should be playing every week.
