I'll bet we win the league if anyone wants to bet against me
Yes, if I was an arsenal supporter I would be saying this isn't done yet as well. Too many games to go.

As for betting against us winning it, I agree it's a long shit we don't win it. But it's still possible. It's one bad performance, one bad injury to mó or virgil and doubt could creep in. If that did happen, The saving grace is that we are not up against City of the last 5 years.

well that'll be double we've lost in 11 games we've gone 27 with 1 loss.

We've just had our toughest period.....

It'll take some blowing that's for sure, especially as arsenal don't even have a striker.

Think even stevo is getting a bit excited
Oh yes but I won't be dancing in the street just yet. We've been burned too many times for many of us to fall for that.

You say only takes 2 games.. What if we lose our next 2 games? Honestly IF the years of watching this game has taught you anything... it is that what Fergy called twitchy bum time.. is a thing. We should know it. I understand a few on here seem determined to ignore the fact - but there it is.

Febuary was a horirble month, and look at the league table

    Look at it...

enough said, we're over the toughest of games- in the league anyway.

can we have some positivity not doom and gloom? and expecting us to fuck up ? and enjoy it, or is that too much to ask??

Not saying we've won it yet but keep this lead, or improve after 30 games, yeah I'd say 0.50% chance of not winning the league.

Are arsenal winning the next 3 without a striker?

Forest away, Utd away (prob will beat them) Chelsea at home

I know utd & Chelsea aren't great right now, but still without a striker it'll be tough.

Really they need to win pretty much every game, Hopefully PSV give them a good game too, or possibly knock em out doubt it but hey.

I'm just enjoying the ride, because in the future I doubt we'll be in this position again, especially with the contract situations, and we'll never replace salah & VVD

I don't think it's doom and gloom, it's cautious optimism. As. Steveo says, we have been burned too many times in recent seasons. I expect us to win the league from here. But i wouldn't be betting my life on it.

If we beat Newcastle on Wednesday and arsenal lose, I will still say the same thing. There are too many games left to start celebrating.

This is the thing with many people - they can only flip from one polar to the other. No balance at all.

Holding fire and not celebrating that we have all but won the title... in February... is doom and gloom mongering.

Going back to someone who says - win the next 2 and it's done.. with.... 'what if we lose the next 2..?

A perfectly reasonable counter....that's doom and gloom.. Naturally

Great innit.. I guess what must happen in these instances.. is...to fit in with the masses - you have to come down to their level..

Like according to you was going to blow it in the games in Febuary ????

Oh dear, Unlucky pal I know you like to be miserable.

Maybe sterling will play CF for arsenal and score 20 goals in the next 10 games and win the league for them ?

But but are players are gonna be knackered and burn out right and lose every game??? I mean I suppose arsenal have a lot of options to rotate upfront lolzzzzzzzz with all the injuries

A team that can't beat west ham at home, i'm so scared they'll win next 11 games and we'll lose every single one.

We are in a great position, we just need to keep on keeping on. One of the worst things about the premier league, apart from the refereeing, is fans/media just want to arrive at the destination and not enjoy the journey.

Arsenal hold the record for the biggest points gap overhauled, trailing Man Utd by 12 points in February, and still reeled them in to win it by a point. As Roy Keane said Liverpool will be a laughing stock if we lose it now.

A couple of days ago Arteta was "angry", today he is defiant and saying all the right things (although "over my dead body" seems a bit extreme!), it's only 3 weeks since Arsenal beat Man City and they threatened to "hunt us down."

We just need to keep on keeping on.

Oh do stop making yourself look even more daft than you usually do. Mr bi polar - the United game is a foregone conclusion. .. Even went on self imposed exile... Almost managed to see it through..

The guy who scolded me for worrying about Arsenal just a month ago - but who flipped 180 - a total reversal up until we beat City...

Just remember - we can all go back and see your litany of u turns.

Our kev.. the lowest common denominator.

Spot on. Somebody who has switched their brain on. Great position, but complacency be damned. No celebrating anything until it's really done. That's not doom mongering but what every player in the squad will be having drummed into them.

Fans need to take heed. Be optimistic absolutely - but don't start counting points we haven't earned.. not just yet.
