I'll remain cautiously optimistic for the next few weeks. I'm not taking anything for granted. As I said, I wouldn't bet against us winning it, but I'm not 100% saying we have won either. Those that are 100% sure we have it won, enjoy it. I'll hopefully catch up to ye in a few more weeks.

We max out on 97 points.
We are on course for 90 points for the season.

If we win 5 of our remaining 11 PL games, and lose all 6 other PL games, we'll end up on 79 points.

That would still see us win the league based on projected points totals of our fellow title contenders

Arsenal could max out on 89 if they win 12.
On course for 77.5 points

Forrest max out at 83 points if they win 12.
On course for 68.7 points

Arsenal play Forrest tomorrow.... surely those are the extent of nervousness.
Of these 3 clubs, we are currently best placed form & fitness

Cituae & the Toon max out at 80 if they win 12.
On course for 64.3 points

Cfc & the Bournemouth max out at 78 if they win 12.
On course for 62.8 points

I'd suggest we're looking 90+% sure at this point.

Exactly, all this talk that the league is done is something I hate to hear. It only take sus to lose 2 games and arsenal are right back in it. Let's wait until it's mathematically impossible for us to lose it, before we talk about a parade.

Some of the articles from sports journalists are embarrassing, saying the league is done and dusted.

I wonder what kind of a gap people expect us to win it by? what would be acceptable?

Like if we end up winning it by 8-11 points now then we are just treading water for the rest of the season, right?!

Will it be a "failure" if we only win it by 4 points? On one hand that's a definite indisputable win over 38 games but right now that will feel like a comedown.

Well if we win it with 2/3 games to go, some certain fans might be able to enjoy the football/games this season a few anyway finally, so I hope for there sake we win it early.

Agreed, all this talk will help spur on everyone else even more. That's why i hate hearing it. I don't think Joelinton will play tomorrow, thabkfully. Cos he is one that would be rampaging all over the place.

Any win will do for me in fairness. 1 point or 12 points, we end up with the league title. That's all that matters.
