I do think Elliot should get a bit more time than he does. He was good today. Not spectacular but made a difference.

Funny thing regarding Elliot in the last 10 minutes he was playing at right back so CCTV was a bit right. thankfully didnt start there.. we pushed Trent inside and Harvey was up the pitch but was the last man on the right..
I Don't have a problem if Trent is pushed inside as long as a midfielder can cover behind. my issue is when the likes of Konate as to fill in on the right. it didnt work and thankfully Slot ditched that, this season

Definitely. Ruthless in a way but it needed doing and it proved to be the right decision.
A bit damning for Jones really, don't think he has an excuse for lacking energy. I thought he started okay but eventually just faded into nothing again.
Szobo can say he's knackered,runs himself into the ground but Jones can't really say that.
He did well coming on at PSG keeping things tidy but I think that seems to be where he's useful, almost like an impact sub. He rarely capitalises on an opportunity and carries on where he left off.

Yep. that laugh when asked about what he said, I thought was a pointer to that ruthless nature & his acumen.

I have kept backing Jones. He does have all the tools but just seems determined to underwhelm. A lack of drive? Slot won’t accept anything less than 100% They better all get used to it.

Jones is such an annoying player, he’s a real talent but he’s so inconsistent. He’s been poor for a few games now.

Strange game, fantastic result, one down nine to go.

I’ve said it before, but Slot’s patient, pragmatic approach can lead to the kind of first half we saw today. The players are so certain that eventually we’ll score that they play with a lack of urgency… especially the back four. The goal and the bollocking changed us completely, but we’ve seen that first 45 so many times this season. It’s good that we have the ability and players to change the tempo so dramatically.

I’ve just seen the Nunez challenge, and it was nowhere near as bad as people were making out. Rash? Definitely, but not dangerous and if anything just mistimed. Ironic that he completely missed!

I actually think there’s a very good chance we won’t progress on Tuesday, but when all is said and done, winning the league will be more than enough. Anything else is just a cherry on the cake.

Agree with this , it’s like when he has a run of games he stops doing the thing that got him there, then when he’s left out he feels like he has something to prove and plays out of his skin
