Should have won that game second half
Jota starting was a serious error for me, he was fucking woeful
Jones & Elliott together makes for a non existent press or ball retention, Slot needs to learn from that it killed us second half of extra time

I mentioned similar last week but Arne and the new coaching set up don't have huge experience of CL knockout games. Compare to Jurgen who had some huge knockout wins and getting to a last gasp loss in a CL final with Dortmund before he came to our club.
We failed at even being in the CL last season so at least we made progress at European level. Arne will need to learn a lot from tonight about approaching our next CL knockout tie. Which should be next season.
We'd be firmly in the next round had we got Arsenal or Villa's draw.
Those are the breaks.
Is it though?
Let's see next season when man city will surely not be as bad, and arsenal recover from injury crisis and finally sign a striker
It's more over-rated by some, and it was clear the difference tonight.
FSG will be fuming, that's millions down the drain for them.
I said earlier that Slot needs to take a large part of the blame for tonight both for his substitutions in this game (the timing of them), and more broadly, his terrible (or lack of) rotation in the weeks leadind up to this and leading to the current state of the team that was clearly fatigued and gassed out there, and ultimately totally outplayed by a PSG team that looked like they were up for it from the off.
A lot of people will blame the club for not giving him the necessary funds to get reinforcements in either of the past two windows, and that's valid.
But you can't complain or cry poverty if you're not using what you already have, or not using it well.
And he hasn't.
I never thought this season we'd win the CL. Origi was better than Nunez and Jota. We don't have the cut and trust of Firmino Salah and Mane 5 years ago.
It absolutely is not "solely" down to that. They're obviously key players but everyone's played their part upto now. Even Chiesa has been involved in a key result.
It's far too easy to piss on what we've achieved upto now because we've lost a game.
We went to penalties against a top side. They're better than us, it suddenly doesn't mean we're shite.
