Absolutely they have stiffed us on the squad. We needed additions but like I said regarding Yoro it's another argument.
Slot can only work with what he's given and the main point I'm trying to make is that it's been excellent upto now and beyond anything any of us expected.
The squad will be improved in the summer I think, some players will go and they'll be replaced by ones Slot wants, next season we possibly see more improvement, if this season is him making the best of what he's got ( which like you say is a good squad left by Klopp) then hopefully there's more to come when he's got his own stamp on things.

At this point in time these are peak moments in a season, being top by a good stretch, a cup final and edged out in a fantastic game between two excellent teams. Nothing won yet but it's exciting.

The best team won over two legs, we were awful for 75% of the combined matches, and we don't have a top squad overall, it looks like the league is won, but until we win it I won't be happy, we were awful against Southampton, hopefully pick ourselves up and beat Newcastle on Sunday. I would never play that Nunez again. We have about 4 or 5 players in our squad that are not good enough. FSG need to start shopping at Harrods and not always looking for that club card bargain, because if we don't strengthen in the summer with top quality, we'll struggle next season.

Only time we really shopped at Harrods was totally dependent on the Coutinho money. That was the only time we went out and got the best...didn't accept 2nd choice.. Landed them... players that everyone wanted. I think Slot is super but it remains to be seen IF he is attracting players like Jurgen did. I don't think there is ANY manager out there that has that pull, that charisma.. People forget where we were in January 2018.

And how well did Klopp play that? Miracle number 1.

The fact is that Slot has a squad that is making light work of the PL. We're in a cup final at the weekend too. You're right, it will be improved again in the summer. It's time to accept that some people will just never be happy.

I think they are talking about it in terms of teams we’re competing against having greater quality in depth & that making the difference over the 2 legs v PSG
