Konate trained yesterday apparently. Not sure if he is up to 120 minutes at Wembley but he could start.

Likewise Isak is fit, but how fit? and they've got injuries in defence.

I'd like to think the occasion will get to them not to mention the gypsys curse.

All week I've been hearing about the prospect of us getting dumped out of two competitions in one week, and our season effectively over, but failing at trebles and quadruples is a level above what most teams of.

Gakpo should be all but fully fit?

It’s a big pitch at Wembley - far larger than Anfield. IF we use it correctly - we have the players to hurt them. Hopefully Tuesday nights 120 minutes plus penalties / is out of their system before KO

The issue I have today is the overall drop off in our performance and the goals from our forwards have started to dry up just like last year, Jota, Diaz, Nunez look toothless and I know Gakpo has been out injured but his goals have dried up too… so we either need Salah to score his first ever goals at Wembley or the others need to wake up and break their recent goal droughts… not confident in either tbh.

Unfortunately, we genuinely look like we are running on empty… again… like I said in a previous post, the timing of our recent wobble is a real concern..

How are we "running" on empty?? we played Wednesday then had to play 2 days ren then played on Saturday then 3 days later on Tuesday.we won 2 out of 3. Our front line needs to pick it up thats obvious..but i think they will.

So you think that Gravenberch and Macca look fresh as daisies, because I don’t, in our two games against PSG and our league game we have looked leggy in midfield, and it's in the midfield that today's game will be won…

Hopefully I am wrong and you are right, but it wasn't a prediction it was just a concern I have about todays game…

they've looked leggy cause they have played 2 intense games against PSG, I said i think Slot got his tactics wrong in both games.. Our midfield had to cover more ground against a very talented team who moved the ball well. should have gone in with 4 midfielders

They are looking leggy because the same small group of players are having to play and come up with the goods almost every game because of our inadequate squad.

That along with Salah having to fast for a month are the exact same reasons his form and our form as a whole fell off a cliff at the backend of last season.

Yes - would be bloody superb IF he could find his lethality / that clinical edge now for the run in
