I don't think he has a poor game, he was decent enough when he was on and West ham had far more joy after Robertson entered the fray.
I didn't get the substitution to be honest. Seemed like a sub for subs sake.

No matter what you do in games you can't press for 90 minutes..seems we did most of the pressing in the first half and ran outta a bit of steam in the second. Opposite to recent games when we've been much better in the second half. early on in the season we managed the in between parts of games better, being more controlled. You can tell Konate and Gravenberch are very leggy.. neither have played this amount of football in 1 season before. Konate for injury reasons and Gravenberch his age.

I wonder if some of the squad are still hard wired into the frenetic end to seasons we regularly had with Jurgen as boss. The reduction from 90+ minutes of high intensity to Arne's more measured style might've been a shock to the minds and bodies of some players.
Getting far ahead in the table from pretty early in the season has also aided that comfort zone.
Think we can easily forget that whilst the adaptation to a whole new coaching set up got us immediate great results, players will still be adapting to new training methods and management of recovery between games.

Good points. It is all new to them.
I do definitely feel the attack needs a bit of a revamp in the summer. It lacks pace and a good finisher, the midfield also clearly needs someone else to supplement Grav and Mac.

13 points is the biggest lead we've had this season no? (so far!)

    Indeed.

We've been 13 points clear at one point (after 28 games I think it was) but Arsenal had a game-in-hand.

This is the first time we have been 13 clear after an even number of matches played.

We got an early lead and maintained distance almost right the way through. It might lack the "drama" for a neutral but winning is winning so it will be nice to get the 20th title landed and consider how we can work towards a 21st one in the coming seasons - and indeed getting that 7th European Cup at some point as well.

thought we'd have it done by spurs or on the day, looking very likely

No fuck ups v leicester away, beat spurs at HOME too that'll be ace, = Title.

then 4 games to relax perhaps give the squad more of a look for summer transfer plans??

and i hope there's a good crowd v arsenal to milk it as much as possible
