I was 3/4![]()
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Here they are versus their nearest rivals at the time.
What a side..
Gakpo starting ahead of Jota.
Alisson, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Gakpo, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Bradley.
Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Nunez, Jones, Elliott, Jota, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah.
Liverpool make two changes for today’s Premier League clash at Leicester City.
Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai return to the line-up, replacing Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota from the team that started last weekend’s win over West Ham United.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Darwin Nunez are back in the matchday squad at King Power Stadium and are on the substitutes’ bench.
Has slot had enough of robbo ?
I was on the kop for the 3-1 win over spurs. Got in about 1330. I knew it would be full. Biggest crowd for me at the old anfield. Hoddle put spurs 1 up at half time. Shot towards his top left corner but ended in top right. All goals at kop end. Only Liverpool league win I've witnessed but did catch Blackburn and Villa win at Highbury too
Team confirmed:
Alisson
Bradley Konate Van Dijk Tsimikas
SloppySlai Gravenberch Mac Allister
Salah Gakpo Diaz
Get the win, no excuses
I'm no LFC historian and the 81/82 season was prior to my birth.
But in the 81/82 season it looks like we beat spurs to seal the league in our 2nd last game. Finishing 4 points above Ipswich that year.
I do know LFC are the most successful club in Britain, and the only British club in the World's/Europe's top5 rankings.
