No - because as southern states - we don’t want it “to drag on much longer”…. ???

Only a complete tit would be celebrating winning the title in February with a likely 8 point lead.
We've beaten Newcastle the day after, Southampton, Everton, West Ham & Leicester, and lost to Fulham in our 6 PL games since.

1 win in our last 5, or a draw v Arsenal, and we win the league.

The league was done March 1st

If you're not enjoying it now

    The aggregate.

Players that are Unicorns or border-line Unicorns aren't something you try to replace.

When Trent departs for example I hope we don't try to find a Trent clone to address the drop in creativity and instead try to find other ways of getting chances created from a multitude of positions whilst attempting to bolster ourselves from a solidity perspective.

Coutinho is the dream example. We didn't really try to replace him like-for-like and instead found a different way to play and were better overall in the end.

We need to get a couple of attackers in that can put up greater numbers than what we are currently getting out of lads not named Mo Salah and tweak the system in such a way that we are less reliant upon "give it to Mo" but I am quietly confident Slot will find a way.

Szoboszlai for example has a lot of work to do with having Trent and Salah share his side of the pitch, as neither are massive recovery/graft merchants. If our next right-back helps us tighten up at the back, it may allow Szobo more freedom to assist our attacking unit.

Quite excited to see what we try to do in the Summer. Don't think it will be huge in terms of numbers or outlay, but a couple of the "right" players and this team could be *chef's kiss* especially given how well we manage to minimise sides having a pop at us on the counter.

We’ve been borderline shyte for months. Have you been watching?

No - as we know you never go to games. But do you actually watch,..?

We celebrating a title in February with the lead we had IS absolutely batshit bonkers. And we would likely have failed miserably from that position had there been any kind of a challenge.

But no - the genius - give me your Lotto numbers CCTV knew all along, As he did last season - and in 2022. and in 2021

Listen you ridiculous excuse for a Liverpool fan.

Stick to defending your uncle - and just leave me out of your sordid affliction

I think we may buy someone like Pedro from BHA, we've lacked that Firmino type this season and although he doesn't score many you can see the role he plays at Brighton.
I think he'd thrive with better players around him.

I'll do that when the trophy is won. And I will enjoy that day. But do I enjoy our form of late??? Absolutely not.

And - forgive me but...why do you care exactly? Fascinating..

Could it be that you are so scared that us winning a title won’t be enough for many to stop asking for MUCH MUCH more from your employers?

Why don’t you ask Southern - who goes to home games - ask him why he’s so keen for this to be put to bed? I don’t know what his reasoning is - But I know my own.

As for changing my tune..? Where did that happen? Once again you are resorting to utter bullshit. YOu seem happy to trawl back to February for comments... Provide evidence that I ever said we would "lose every game" as per Kev's question? Provide evidence that I ever said anything even remotely close in fact or STFU.

Not that I ever had the intention to live rent free in your head. But sadly it seems to be the case.

Listen...I’m sure IF you really are a genuine fan and supporter of Liverpool FC rather than Fenway $ports Group - you’ll get over it,

Prefer Cunha to Pedro personally Sid, think Pedro lacks a bit of edge, seems to drift through games.

It's funny you bring up the owners all the time. I rarely do. I think the clubs run well. Think the squad is pretty good. For me Slot messed up recently but it is his 1st season at LFC and his 1st season in the CL.

1 win or a draw v Arsenal, and it's done mathematically. It was done on March 1st

It's just 6 games ago it was a fool saying it was done, unlike previous seasons there was no real challenger on the scene. 13 points clear with 5 to play now. Now it's, will you wrap it up already....

You did have post-Klopp predictions. What did you predict in that thread ? I just remember Bob recalling the team did better than many expected, including yourself

Here's my outlook for the summer.

    For me
Kelleher, Trent, Tsimi, Endo, Morton & Jota are leaving.

Giorgi, Frimpong, Kerkez, Guehl, Zubminedi-2.0 & Isak arrive.

    3 Keepers

    Alisson/Giorgi/Jaros

    9 Defenders

    Frimpong/Bradley/Konate/Guehl
    VVD/Quansah/Gomez/Kerkez/Robbo

    6 Midfielders

    Grav/Zubi2.0/Maca/Jones/Sobozla/Elliott

    6 Attackers

    Salah/Chiesa/Isak/Nunez/Diaz/Gakpo

That's a 24 man squad with 5 further additions to Giorgi. And 6 leaving.
It's a 25 man squad if Bajcetic counts as a senior player. Doak as I recall will qualify as a youth.

Our presumed best 11 & cup team would be

    Alisson
    Frimpong Konate VVD Kerkez
    Grav Maca
    Salah Sobozla Diaz
    Isak

    Giorgi
    Bradley Guehl Quansah/Gomez Robbo(c)
    Zubimendi Jones
    Chiesa Elliott Gakpo
    Núńez
    https://forums.lfconline.co.uk/showthread.php?310878-Slots-Summer-Squad-Rebuild-2025-26/page20

Now it doesn't look great for Morton, Nunez or Chiesa at the minute under Slot. Hasn't looked great for Elliott either but he got minutes today. Slot seems dead set on Jota.
But the above would be my summer window strategically.
And open to better Slot signings than Zubimendi2.0

But right back Trent, Left back, Matip2.0, Zubi2.0 & Isak would be my 5 new additions. And only Isak as it would shut up moanings really. Cases for Cunha etc

Is that kind of window not enough ?

I feel the same about Szoboszlai. I was expecting a lot from him based on what I had seen from him, but since he joined I've been very disappointed in what he's served up.

I remember the praise he was getting from some after his first few games with us. Even then I was underwhelmed and thought to myself that some people were prematurely giving him an excessive amount of praise.
