Does a huge amount of work tbf… More goals would be good, but that is something so many would say about most midfielders.

He's dropped off a bit recently but has had an excellent season overall I think.

I'm fine with his contribution this season. My worry is, If Salah drops off with goal output. We need goals from other places. And with dominik szoboszlai playing in the attacking midfield role.. He does need to up his goals going forward. Nothing major like 20 goals 10/11 would suffice

While it’s unlikely Mo can keep scoring as he has in record seasons - you just never know. He has a knack of defying the odds. His assist output seems to be on the rise,

It could be that he becomes our major supply line. However as Carra said last night - despite it looking like number 20 is in the bag - we need 5 or 6 players…

A testimony to just how well that squad has performed and a highlight to the fact that it has been a strange season. Much will have to change for next season or the top 4 itself is in jeopardy.

I think szob I a a decent player but he has been a bit disappointing with his goal contributions, I think the worry is when Salah is quiet there doesn’t seem to be much at all coming from the wings and midfield 3 . Szob has a lot of energy but if hes playing in that 10 role he doesn’t offer enough in a creating sense , I think the same could be said for Diaz , talking about bringing Pedro in , I think it’s the same thing there . Whoever we bring in has to have shown that the creativity is already part of their game

We need Morgan Rogers, young creative English attacking midfielder. Dominated their home tie with Man City and numerous other games this season. Proper player already proven at the level

This is great shout , not that we could get him, but he’s exactly the type of midfielder that we need , exciting and creative , always involved

Rogers would be awesome. Just not sure if Villa would let him go or would he want to go.

A Firmino type would see us create more for others, that's why I'd say I could see a player like Pedro being signed. A lock picker type player could be a game changer in this team.

In relation to Jotas downturn, the Liverpool way pod sst we're talking about it and saying they think it's down to how we play. I'm not sure I agree with that.

Save the doom and gloom for next season stevo you'll love it, depending what happens in summer hopefully not.

That's why i say enjoy this season next season will be very different, or at least more of a challenge and something to get nervous about, not a stupid gap with 8 games to go thinking we'd still blow it.

Not doing bad in the league, in-fact it's increased the gap considering we've been shit, because salah has been off the boil and rest of the attackers could play for everton next season, (if they invest and get a top half finish) the way they're playing.

Salah has had a incredible season, wasn't going to keep it up all season, he's broken many records, doesn't help certain players around him aren't helping, teams are terrified of him, double up on him etc yet the other attackers don't take advantage of this, they should do.

Total lack of goals across the pitch, unless it's salah diaz had a good start to the season then went off the boil scoring wise- and lately got a few at least, so his stats look not bad, but it's a shame he didn't carry it on, he scored like 5 in what first 3-4 games or something ? then looked as hopeless as nunez for a while

I don't think anyone else will leave upfront apart from Nunez, Chiesea I guess.. perhaps jota ? Gakpo and diaz are very safe. Doak could easily take Chiesas spot... Nunez and chiesa defo gone, jota I doubt it, but a decent offer, I'd accept.
