I lost a lot of respect for him once he started fluttering his eyelashes in Barcelona's directon.

Yep... then there was Arbeloa who was imo top quality. Then there's Aurélio too. That was a much stronger side than many seem to remember.

Frankly Rafa should have taken the 2009 title.. too many draws. 1 up front v cannon fodder too often. Needed to be a little less built for Europe and a little more Prem focussed and front footed that year and we would have taken at least 8 points more.
