Granted that's 13 players with both Sobozla and Gakpo being available depending on which A-Team you pick, and assuming Guehi is added.

Whilst there's rumours of Elliott & Nunez being moved on, and some talk of Diaz/Gakpo being sought elsewhere, I'd be quite happy to go with the above squad for next season.

Sadly Jota won't be with us next season.

Jota would have probably started next season if we failed to get a number 9 target. I think its likely Nunez will go

It does kind of feel with the lack decent number 9’s available, we’re putting all our eggs in one basket. I think there is only one striker we want, ISAK. The likely hood of getting him, look slim. Wouldn’t be surprised if we go without a number 9 after getting rid of Nunez. We then bring one in when they come available and the price is right.

Diaz was at his best by far pre injury in his first half a season when he joined. He was so good in fact that he displaced Sadio Mane out wide - who got shifted to the center. 2023/24 was always going to be tough with both parents being kidnapped. Kinda shifts your focus a little. But I guess some cherry picked stats over 2 seasons can tell us that

This season both he and Gakpo competing for a place has been very healthy for both.

Lose Diaz and we have a problem. This is the point for those without an agenda

Whats with the rumours of diaz and konate wanting to leave?
The rumours put it down to contract issues with diaz wanting contract extension and konate looking to double his 80 grand are there issues behind the scenes at liverpool?
