How do you know without a game being played?

Will Frimpong be better than trent?
Will Kerkez be better than a prime Robbo?
Will Ekiteke be better than jota ?

Will wirtz, work out, (my safest bet is on him) and stay injury free ?

Wouldn't say with the "outs" and one very sadly, it's the best window ever.

how can it be the best anything after Jota dying ?

still work to do...mainly at CB need a natural wide player still in my opinion too.

Would like to see Giovanni Leoni here but it may be a step too soon for him.

We've signed three of not four real quality players and possibly more to come in. It's been a good window upto now.
Hehe just tongue in cheek at the end there when i realised my post sounded a bit negative.

As good as our business looks the deals seem to be taking longer this summer and the Charity Shield is less than two weeks away...

Isak, Guehi and a few players off the payroll would make it an unbelievable window.

Apparently Will Wright is having a medical with us - the 17-year old Salford striker.

We had been heavily linked, then in mid-July all signs had suggested that Arsenal had convinced him to join them - so quite how we have turned it around is beyond me. I'm delighted we continue to be doing the necessary work at all levels of future-proofing.

Wow, window just got better! It was reported that we'd pulled out. Apparently Arsenal had only agreed with Salford, not with the player. Probably being in the North West helped. Maybe in a few years he will have a supermodel girlfriend to tell him to move to London but until then...good news!

    Fair enough.

Agreed. If we ge these two over the line it would be a ridiculous window.

Compared to how we've gone about our business over the last 10 years this window is a massive outlier. It could set us up very nicely for the next 4 or 5 years.

It’s certainly different, unexpected and nice to see the owners backing the manager.

I think over the years I’d have preferred one or two world class signing every summer rather that the Big Bang we have seen this summer.

We could be starting our first game of the season with 6 new players in the first 11 which could be a risk.

We won the league last year, on the back of having a settled first eleven/eighteen.
This season should be interesting, I wonder how well our new signings will settle in!?

Isak saga still on going, and will drag on. Let’s concentrate on making decisions. Is Konate staying?. Gomez can’t be relied on. We need two centre backs regardless. VVD can’t keep playing every game. Is Diaz being replaced?. What players Slot doesn’t want to keep. I thought we wanted to get everything sorted out quick. Seems like we will still be pissing about until the window shuts.
