I wonder if Diaz will last longer than Mane did at Bayern?. or will he be shifted off to Saudi after a year as well

Spurs walloped 4-0 by Bayern. Diaz played 76 minutes but no goals or assists for him.

Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
A Manchester United fan has set up a GoFundMe page to try and raise funds for the club to sign Carlos Baleba from Brighton.
The Red Devils are said to have made contact with Brighton to explore the conditions of a deal for midfielder this summer, though a potential deal appears difficult.
The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign for the Seagulls, featuring 34 times in the Premier League and scoring three goals for Fabian Hurzeler's side.

Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Desperate times, require desperate measures!
Wish he had stayed to be honest
Real shame we have had to take the cash but we have spent a packet to be fair
Just read a few reports that Bajcetic is going on loan to Celtic with a view to buy.
Disappointing if true imo.
His departure for Celtic (permenently,.... from the looks of it) says to me that the club sees Trey Nyoni more as the long-term alternative, competition and possible replacement for Grav's position farther down the road, rather than bringing back Bajcetic in the same vein.
Or at least that's what I'm hoping it reads as, only if it also means we don't send Nyoni out on loan too and he ends up finding himself on the same trajectory that Bajcetic found himself in.
Eitehr way, it probably wouldn't have worked to have both of them at the club when Slot's team is potentially looking at both for he same roles in the team.
From the preseason games so far and how they used him I would surmise that they've determined that young Trey is more versatile and has more potential and upside for development.
And you can't ever put a price on players that can be played in different positions in the field.
(well,.....you can.....put a price on them, but most likely you'll be getting hosed)
Think of how valuable Milly was to Klopp thanks to his ability to be played anywhere from the frontline to the midfield and even in the fullback positions if the circumstances called for it.
And while I wouldn't want Slot to be playing Nyoni in the CB position like they tried him a couple of times in this preseason (...and that the club instead get a natural fullback to beef up that position), it's nice to know he has that in his back pocket.
I feel bad for Bacjetic that it never worked out for him here, as he always seemed like one of the young guns who could have had a real future with us, but I can only but wish him the best when he goes to Celtic and with the rest of his career.
I do hope we use both Nyoni and Rio significantly this season with the first team.
