Lol... Any of you lads in the Liverpool area got a garden shed and a spare double mattress to help a young Swedish international out...?

    Ask any Geordie, it’s Liverpool’s fault …..

The latest update from The Athletic on Tuesday claims the player is adamant he will never play for Newcastle again, even if the club refuse to sell him before the transfer deadline. Additionally, journalist Melissa Reddy reported that Isak informed Newcastle last summer that the 2024/25 campaign would be his last at the club.

That message was reiterated two weeks before the end of last season, and again after their final game against Everton in May.

'I've kept quiet for a long time while others have spoken,' he wrote on his Instagram account. 'That silence has allowed people to push their own version of events, even though they know it doesn't reflect what was really said and agreed behind closed doors.

'The reality is that promises were made and the club has known my position for a long time. To now act as if these issues are only emerging is misleading.

'When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can't continue. That's where things are for me right now and why change is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself.'

Isak also confirmed his absence from the PFA bash on Tuesday, where he was named in the Team of the Year and nominated for the top prize, was because it 'didn't feel right to be there'.

'I'm proud to be recognised by my fellow professionals with a place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season for 2024/25,' he said.

'First and foremost I want to thank my teammates and everyone at Newcastle United who has supported me along the way.

'I'm not at the ceremony tonight. With everything going on, it didn't feel right to be there.'

Never seen the likes of this before.

Actually fear for our players on Monday now. The Geordies are calling for our players to be injured on their forum.

Its got really messy with last nights comments.
Its already being talked about that players will have second thoughts about joining newcastle and might already hitting home with newcastle struggling to get strikers in,not sure if liverpool should just walk away,as usual liverpool will get blamed for the whole mess and opposing fans will be on isaks back every match.
