Let’s hope he doesn’t let the dogs out. Agree fully - at least 2 titles probably more with Klopp in situ

They'd have definitely won a couple if he'd just let them of the leash.

I think they're built very similarly to us. They have a good spine of players - A good keeper, Both CBs, Rice and Odegaard and Saka.

But I wouldn't swap their squad with ours.

Doubt any of us would swap squads but we are all totally biased on that. Players become like family when they are at the club - some remain so even after.. Origi, Bobby and Mané to name a few recent examples…

As a squad, arsenals must be the strongest in the league now? They have options all over the pitch. The quality can be debated but it has improved from last year.

Arteta will surely be under pressure if he doesn't get a major trophy this year?

Wonder how strong they are mentally.

Or if are they neurologically wired to come a heroic second. It's a habit.

I don't think they have many excuses this year. They have kept their core squad and added quality. It really should be this year.

But if we get isak, does that change it for us?

Newcastle are preparing for Liverpool to return with a new bid of between £120-130m for their Sweden forward Alexander Isak, 25. (Teamtalk)

Newcastle need to accept its over with them and Isak and accept the offer from LFC

We could get him for 60m next season.

Wouldn't bid an extra pound. Newcastle dug themselves into this hole.

Will be interesting to see. Hope we can stay in touch for the first 10 games or so. Hopefully new players will have bedded in. Everyone wrote us off last season so hopefully we can surpise people again. Might be a while before we start clicking though. I think we probably need Isak though despite all the kerfuffle. We'd be a bit flat if we don't get him now I think. What a boost it would be adding a top class striker to what we've already got. Will strike a note of fear into others.

As we stand now, it’s Arsenal v City while we battle to hold on to fourth. Desperately need a CB and at least one striker, maybe 2.

And we still need a 6, we’ve seen how open we are without Gravenberch. No way should he start any more games with Wirtz as the third midfielder when Gravenberch is missing
