No disrespect Steveo, but your excessive and ludicrous level of hatred toward anything financial or political that involves America, namely any of its 'prominent' residents or particular groups of them makes you incapable of having a reasonable level of objectivity when analysing any situation that might have some link to such individuals or groups no matter how tenuous the links to American financial or political interests may be.

Let's be clear… wrapping yourself in the American flag doesn't make your argument any less ridiculous. This has nothing to do with nationality and everything to do with the fact that you're defending a multi-billion dollar corporation as if it's a small, family-run business. It's embarrassing.

Let me see if I've got this right. You want to keep standing in that trough of absurdity with all the other minions—the ones who see 'ambitious business' when we try to poach another club's star player, but scream 'pure evil' when a club from the Spanish capital or one backed by a Gulf state does the exact same thing.
But let's not focus on that glaring hypocrisy, because you've been exposed. No, let's pivot and focus on my willingness to call out financial hegemony. What a naughty boy I am for not buying into the Hollywood narrative of righteous American billionaires saving football from the scary Arabs.
My issue isn't with a flag; it's with your victim complex and your laughable double standards. Try to keep up.

Steveo if I may briefly interject.

The vitriol aimed at the Club from the Spanish capital was almost entirely due to the fact that they invariably take out players for free, nothing at all to do with where they are based or owned by.

I don’t recall any Bayern bashing when we were well compensated by Bayern for Diaz for example.

And that is why we are telling the Geordies to get a grip because they will be more than adequately compensated for their player, as it should be.

    That is all.

Last night I watched Diaz score again. Just now see The arseholes presenting Eze before kick off. I hope we are signing both Guehi & Isak. Ideally we could react and go after Rodrygo. Not to forget We’re losing Salah for African Nations.

It's incredible that we've left ourselves weaker than last season after all the crying about LFC overspending in the early part stages of the transfer window.

You mentioned the 18 year old and 16 year old. Didn't we also buy a 17 year old striker? I guess we're banking on some very youthful rotation options. We've spent relatively little net, while UTD must have a money tree hidden somewhere in Old Trafford..

Last won the Premier League 23 hours, 101 days, 23 hours and 55 minutes ago, at a time when "F*** It" (I Don’t Want You Back) by Eamon was the UK no. 1 in the charts.

Ignoring the Community Shield, their last trophy was the FA Cup - won 5 years, 23 days, 21 hours and 11 minutes ago. Played at an empty Wembley due to COVID restrictions.

They'll break the hoo-doo eventually, but I wouldn't sweat them too much.

Hey Miller, thanks for the brief interjection.I missed this..

As I see it you’ve drawn a false equivalence between the situations. The vitriol aimed at the Spanish club isn't "almost entirely" about free transfers; it's about a pattern of leveraging their prestige and financial power to destabilize other clubs, whether through free transfers, or otherwise.
As for the Geordies, you're missing the point entirely. No one is denying they'll be "adequately compensated." The issue isn't the compensation; it's the predatory nature of the transfer. You're defending a system where a club can come in and simply take a player, leaving the selling club with no choice but to accept a big payday and scramble to find a replacement. That's not a free market; it's an exercise in pure financial or in our case - as per Real - legacy based bullying.

I can accept it as a Liverpool fan but can understand why Toon fans feel as we often do when Barcelona want one of pur star players for instance

And I would say with Diaz to Bayern - we were cashing in on the player…
