Makes sense - a decent Conference run would be a fun adventure for Palace and can yield some money if they go deep in the competition.

Guehi would lift us. Konaté's form aside we actually aren't in as deep a pile of Didgeridoo as some make out - Van Dijk/Konaté/Quansah/Gomez (Endo emergency) to Van Dijk/Konaté/Leoni/Gomez (Endo emergency) isn't a disaster at all IF Konaté can rediscover himself a bit, but getting Guehi would make us all the stronger and future-proof against Van Dijk's eventual departure a bit.
