Everybody knows the kind of things that are said on social media, so whilst there is no excuse for the abuse and harassment that some people are subjected to, prominent individuals such as sportspeople are asking for trouble by using social media in the first place.

    Ah, gotcha, you're seeking elaboration/clarification.

There were a few people (yourself included) in here that had made comments around Neuro-divergent tendencies and conditions on here throughout the years - Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Asperger's etc that I thought were at best immature and at worst, malicious.

Nineteenx typically bore the massive brunt of this - much more than I did - and more patiently than I think I did or would have done. That said, I occasionally caught some flack as well around Obsessive Compulsive symptoms that I discussed very openly and for a prolonged period on here (I am Autistic and have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, which isn't a barrel-load of craic, though the latter is under infinitely much more control these days) which, for a time, slowly manifested themselves in a tick whereby I felt the need to time my "your team against" threads to be paired with the ref's full-time whistle.

This was honestly rather exhausting, as I found it interrupting stuff I really valued doing - I could be out on a hike in an area with no reception and I'd have to find reception and try to get text-based info updates and try and pair the thread upload with the whistle. If it sounds ridiculous, it is - OCD is fucking infuriatingly illogical and doesn't allow much in the way of flexibility, something that Red Noodle articulated really, really well. It's hard to describe to a Neurotypical person, but not having a need met (I used to have to open and close the curtains 30 times each morning) basically feels like having an itch you can't scratch within your blood, so you want to rip off your own skin to scratch the itch - combined with nausea, combined with a choking feeling. Thankfully, besides checking that the bathroom door is locked a bunch of times, I'm pretty "clean" these days.

On the television it's always portrayed as just a reshuffle of neat-and-tidy on the desk etc whereas it can actually be quite debilitating.

Anyway, to try and explain and/or give context - once one has a process of doing something a set way, an interruption to the schedule can really knock someone off-kilter, something I explained in a......2021 (?) thread about someone (CCTV?) making one of the "your team against" threads. To be clear, it didn't matter that it was me making them - it's a change of system. So with miller making match threads, this is the accepted "normal" - if justincredible suddenly did one next week I would freak out - or should I say, a less healed version of me would freak out - because the system was changed. It's not that I have to be the one do whatever I'm doing. Same as when they changed all the local buses to a different colour where I am - it's just disconcerting as all fuck. Bear in mind this is a healthy me explaining how a sick me feels - as I'm sure someone will take it as a complaint/whinge/get-over-yourself. Unfortunately I can't convey tone easily via the typed word - again, probably down to my Neurodivergence. Is what it is.

Anyway - people (mainly you) started to complain about this - "can't you just wait?" or whatever. But you personally turned the dial a little bit. You would always have some complaint that I typed too quickly, or that I should "watch the game" (the threads would take me about 12 seconds to make, usually made during a Trent throw-in, copy+paste at full-time whistle, explained this many times) and this became weekly, then basically every thread. Then it became comments like "you complete selfish pig" if I made a thread and you had made one a minute later. Then it became that you would make a thread of your own - "sorry Sid, I beat you to it" (even though your own complaints were that I wasn't watching the game?) as if there was a race - and so on. When called out upon it, one of your (many) comments was "sorry, I can't help myself, I have OCD, lol".

What was particularly weird about it (for me) was the sheer amount of time you did it for. I'd say a rough time-scale of me doing those threads and the comments looks roughly like this -

17/18 - roughly when I started doing them regularly, though not every match.
18/19 - continued to do so
19/20 - I was doing it, jokes were made about not jinxing it, so I kept it up.
20/21 - some jokes are made that I had "lost my touch"
    21/22 - still doing it
    22/23 - still doing it
    23/24 - still doing it
24/25 - you did them, for a whole season, little-to-no trolling from my side, that I recall.
    25/26 - you've continued to do them

Now I would say for most of the period between 19/20 and 22/23 there were little digs - and some explicitly regarding mental health. I laughed at it - but as time went on, I'm unsure of whether or not I should have done. To a point where a friend (and briefly former-forum user, went by "Batman" - probably less than 30 posts) said I should find out how often you'd either made an alternate thread in the imagined race in your mind, or commented negatively on mine - and within the November 2020 to February 2021 period I had found 9 or 10.

Which are of course dead and unopenable now, but here they are -

    - not that they are the sum total over what was a four-year period, but I didn't want to waste my time (at the time he suggested it, which is about 3 years ago) finding more. Strangely (and this is true of last season when you made them "your" threads) when someone else did one, you didn't bat an eyelid. It was purely an Insidious-only issue. I guess that felt somewhat targeted at the time, especially given references to mental health and specifically OCD and Neurodivergence.

It doesn't "matter" really - they don't effect my everyday life and I found it quite funny at the time, however I do know a wealth of people who would feel cut to shreds over lesser comments due to hypersensitive neural pathways - and this represents a free opportunity for a little bit of education, even if some will find it an eye-roller.

Mental Health issues are exhausting and none of the "we" want to feel like this and certainly not for attention on an internet forum full of strangers. So with that principle in mind - voila. I have replied.

Anyway, as I said, I'm glad you've changed. It shows growth. I mean that sincerely, though I know I'll be accused of being facetious or petty or whatever. You asked for an explanation. I have, as ever, over-articulated in my response as a quick typer. Is what it is.

Never once. did i mention it..about people with mental issues.,

I have criticised you for opening threads. No wait writing out threads hour or hours earlier and posting them about 2 seconds after we lost a game..
those links don't wont open. so cant comment on them.. I criticised several on here for their points of view.. They don't take it personally..
You question me,, but thats fine?? you question my motive.. which is not in anyway nasty.. but again thats fine.
