Loving our new signing Dominik Szoboszlai,has been fantastic at right back and has shown he can play right midfield 3 or also imo fit in as cover for salah in our 4 2 3 1.
Would track back better than salah and still offer a attacking threat,maybe later in games taking salah off and moving dom over.

It'd be very harsh to drop him right now. Would we think about dropping Mo and bring Szobo in there (assuming Frimpong/Bradley are back)?

Guehi has probably been the "best behaved" of the transfer targets and has ended up staying.

Stinks of internal politics - Glasner obviously wanting to keep him, Parish preferring to get some value rather than Guehi departing on a free in the Summer and already rumours that Glasner threatened to walk if Guehi wasn't kept.

Glasner's in a strong position after a good start and getting silverware last season, very popular with their fans.

Hey ho - try again in January for £15m-£20m or try and get him on a free next Summer.

Still an excellent window overall.

Hopefully he goes nowhere near that job - I think he's a decent Manager and could probably get a few notes out of them, even if a fully coherent tune might take a bit longer.

They need more Amorim time - then Southgate, then Allardyce, then Neil Warnock, then Pardew, then Bruce, then Mourinho again, then Dyche.

According to Paul Joyce. We won’t be signing Guehi in January. Palace will want some money for him, so will probably bully Guehi to sign for whoever wants him. Hopefully he has some balls this time to say he only wants us, if that’s the case.

My issues is we may be able to get away with it for the next 3 months with 4 main defenders.. its expecting a lot for Gomez to remain fit and theres the contract issues with Konate. and then expect us go all season with 4 is pushing our luck. If we don't get Guehi we will need someone in January who ever it is

The trouble with us now having to wait till January or next summer to try and sign Guehi is that a lot can happen between now and then. Guehi could get seriously injured, or we could drop off a fair bit whilst either Real Madrid or Barcelona start looking fantastic or offer him and his agent ludicrous wages and signing on fees.

I don’t have a crystal ball - but never saw him at L4…. Something just doesn’t fit about it. Still hoping to be proved wrong
