At Jozza I didn’t mean Wirtz to play like Diaz at all. I just meant to have a game changing - season defining one. As that reel should remind those with short memories.

He is obviously nothing like Luis. Totally different position and bought to do a completely different job. Hence many of us have stated we haven’t replaced Luis.

I think we missed Jota mostly yesterday he cut through the lines and dribbled at the defense.. we tried to pass an ball through an eye of a needle yesterday

Yes indeed .. were he fit he would have come on most likely but we do have Ekitike who is more than handy... Just seems to me without one flank working the other falls apart too. Salah gets doubled and trebled up on. This is where Cody has to do more imo.. Can he tho

Gakpo is a lovely lad.. He's big and Dutch - but not the strongest on the ball - he's slow to pass...The entire stadium can see what he is about to do.. has the power to smash them in and to get there - at times...but it is predictable.

I really like him, but he never filled me with confidence. It's a risk to play Rio too much but he is so much more dynamic. An unpredictable gem and a real threat. BUT huge risk.. That young - things can go to their head with ease. Massive job for Slot - who IMO is starting to feel the pressure

This was something that worried me in August - after the Newcastle game. I fully expected a spanking by Arsenal - obviously relieved it didn’t come to pass BUT frankly were we to play that game now - most would be as concerned as I was. . Think that wonder strike from our best player this season fooled many. By the time of Burnley and the 14th of September it seemed to be glaringly obvious

Slot looked under pressure then… Maybe it’s got to him that badly and he cannot cope.. Really don’t know.
