As I have also repeatedly said, though I am not saying he will never come good he certainly hasn’t been good yet and we have weakened the midfield to fit him in.
Last night was better, in that he made a couple of chances but he also gave the ball away with an easy pass available to him, far too often for my liking.
At £100m you are looking for a player to be pretty feckin good pretty much from day one.. he needs to be close to the finished article not a work in progress.
