What a meeting that must have been.

So … you know this formation that’s won us 2 Premier Leagues, 2 League Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 FA Cup, 1 Super Cup and 1 World Club Cup and got us to 4 European Finals … you know that ??

    Yeahhhh …

Well as well as bringing in 5 first team starters, let’s change the formation.

    Yeah?

    Yeahhh.
And you know our best and most versatile forward after Salah ….?

    Diaz?

Yeahhh.. Shall we sell him but NOT replace him??

    Yeah?

    Yeah….

Er… also we really need another CB, should we get the England Captain worth about £75m for this knock down price of £50m??

No, let’s see if we can leave it til the end of the window and save £10m

    Yeahhhh ok

We're far from a crisis yet... but first time slots had real problems and issues to sort imo

Looked terrible tonight, that performance was the worst i've seen in a long time from us 270m in attack or whatever it is and still toothless and have no idea

People that deal with transfers need to get sacked

"We're not so far off last season," insisted the Reds boss. "We've lost twice in a row but the schedule can bring this. Galatasaray away is not an easy game, and we play Chelsea so it's not an easy run.

"I saw a lot of good things. The way we played, the way we controlled the game. In the second half, there wasn't a lot of playing time. Their striker was on the floor, subsitutes, injuries. The referee blew his whistle exactly after eight minutes."

    ??????????

What game did he watch ?

Absolutely. This is where he'll start to earn his wages. Like you say not a crisis but clearly some big fucking issues.
We've looked terrible for most of our games aside from Everton, Bournemouth and Atletico for about half an hour in each game. We've looked vulnerable and sloppy.

Can any of ye explain how you see LFC as the intransigent party when it came to adding players this summer.

Some clubs were easy peasy, done deals. And there were other clubs. Yet ye think LFC messed it up.

Look what it took to get Isak out of Newcastle.

With Guehi, allegedly he had his video to hand for socials.

If arsenal win it this season, it's because they've got what they've needed and built on it over the last few seasons simple as that.

They even got more depth at CB even though it was covered look like class signings also...

Meanwhile we just go all attack minded and... here we have it couldn't score against a team that's not kept a clean sheet in 24 champs league games and conceded 5 to a average team last CL game, good right, honestly looked like man utd

Why was the guehi the only option? because he's english? was class CB's out there- fuck knows why we needed wirtz over a player that fit in the 3 like we played last season and could rotate, jones and endo aren't the answer.

We've spent what? 270m+ on attack and never looked so toothless

Im just asking ye, how ye see transfers like Isak & Guehi as being the clubs fault.

Not paying enough to get deals done earlier when all the delay is from the other side.

We paid €145 million for Isak. Newcastle mentioned over €200 mill.

Valued at his peak of €120 million euro on Transfermarkt.
He was valued at €75 mill at new years.

Personally, I wouldn't have bought isak for that price. We had Ekitike and that money could have went elsewhere like a cb and CDM.

Regarding the guehi deal, it has been cited the lateness of our final bid as the stumbling block. If we went in early with the extra 5mil I believe we would have gotten him. We haggled to get a cheaper deal due to his contract situation. Left it late. The manager throw a wobbler (which I don't blame him) and forced the owner to pull the deal. Going in earlier with that extra few mil gets the deal done. My opinion of course.

Why didn't they go for Guehi earlier?? if palace refused even if we offered a bit more- then we could've moved onto someone else- Thiaw or the guys arsenal have signed- and try get guehi on a free later on.

With isak, I just don't know if we really needed him over a LW like diaz who could play up top and a CDM with that money probably could get both.

I just don't know after spending so much how we're looking so light in quality in midfield, CB and LW diaz didn't get replaced...

Bit of a joke really, in the future we're still going to need a LW unless gakpo actually turns class... doubtful.. a salah replacement X2 cbs and a CDM even after spending all that money.

Transfer team needs to be looked at

For me jones, gakpo, endo can all leave next season and salah if he carry's on like this a year early, assuming konate will be off eitherway also, that's still 4 changes needed in future and how's that going to work with the amount we've spent and FFP? we're screwed
