After each game being played its starting to look like we've spunked 116 million on a luxury player who might not be able to handle pace of the premiership. I wonder what we would look like if instead we spent that money on two quality centre backs. Lost out on Guehi, Leoni out for a year. Left with injury prone and brain fart Gomez & Konate. Virgil, these days seems to be leaning further back in his arm chair. Lets hope buying a luxury player doesn't cost us this season, when most of us were more concerned with lack of centre backs.

It's a head-scratcher. You would have thought that slot had a plan in mind for him. Right now it doesn't look like it. Who should drop out for him? Szobo and Grav are undroppable right now. Should we drop macca and play the other two behind wirtz? That's not Szobo's natural position.

If we stick with our normal midfield then he needs to play upfront. But he's more of a 10 than a winger.

Is slot planning to move to a more traditional front 2 where wirtz plays off isak? Then where does Ekitike go? Or gakpo.

So many questions. Let's hope someone has put some thought into this

Slot has mulite times macca didn't have a proper preseason so I'm hoping that's it with him.

Salah, has jotas death affected him deeply. We have seen the open emotion from him.

Konate, seems to be gone. Like he has made his mind up to leave and his head isn't with it.

Wirtz, new player, needs plenty of time. But right now he looks light weight and our system doesn't suit him. Which begs the question why we bought him?

Well after a lucky start to the season, with bad results and injuries now kicking in. Feeling like one of those seasons, going to be a long one. Most of us knew not bringing in a centre back nor getting in a proper 6 would hurt us. Jota & Diaz have been a big lost. We’ve got too many issues to be competitive this season.
