We have tried in the past to get a fancy little player in midfield. it doesnt work, our best 3 under Jurgen was Fabinho. Gini and Henderson, Under Slot. its Grav Macca and Dom.. our defence is leaking more cause we cant control midfield.. we are 1 short when you play Wirtz,, hes not a number 10 or an 8.

Well done Keith Andrews and Brentford well deserved.

His first management job, lost his main forwards but they are everything Liverpool are not.

They have athletes, strong runners playing with a hunger.

They have a plan, they play to their strengths and execute their plan.

What excuse has Arne got, for us to look so disjointed and bereft of ideas, in comparison to little Brentford. There hasn’t been an ounce of fight in them during this run.

We need to accept Wirtz is not gonna work and see if Bayern want him. Maybe we can do a deal to get Olise.. Get in Seymeno.. hes quicker and more direct, he doesnt sit off play and try silly passes and closes our over all play down.

It's easy to scapegoat certain players but it's collectively we are shite. Last season we'd have got away with carrying Wirtz. The hunger was there.
This season, they've thought it was going to be a cakewalk and they're being caught out e ery single game. A whiff of arrogance from all of them including Slot.
His substitutions are fucking ridiculous. He looks like he's struggling to find a way out of this.

Wirtz is just another example of a decent player from a middling league who can't adapt in the hurly burly of middle of the park at Prem level. The Intensity is too great and the time required to unlock defences is just too small.

I'd sell in January, except he might actually suit CL as he did last week.

Havent played with that type since before klopp.
Klopp hated 4 2 3 1 felt it left us open,plsying with a number 10 isnt working,players look lost with no working formation.
I still believe in the players but slot hasnt won me over,sorry.
