    Actually surprised it's that high.

I think etikie could play off there but not his best place. We definitly need someone out the left if we want to stick to the 433 or a variation. We are short by not replacing Diaz. I think most accept that.

Left and right attack,DM and CD and LB if robbo goes end of season, not sure fsg will fund that much again.

To compete at the very top, we probably need all of that, but I would say 2 CBs come next summer. After this season we will be into the last year with both virgil and moe. Need virgil replacement in next summer.

Already seen enough of Kerkez and Wirtz to believe neither is going to work for us.

They have flaws that cannot be rectified, Wirtz is too slow and weak for this league, saw him “avoiding” more than one challenge in every game.

Kerkez, well what can I say, have you ever seen a defender more awkward trying to make aerial challenges? And headless chickens have nothing on this lad, he has no clue where he is supposed to be. As for his first touch .. jeez.

Not every player you buy works and I get that there will be those believing both will come good but then there are those who probably still think Djimi Traore will turn into prime Maldini and does anyone remember “Aquilani is fast improving” ?

I remember Kabak under the first long ball fired in his direction, he completely misjudged the flight of the ball and made no contact with it.
Again, that was enough, there are things as a professional footballer, never mind one trying to get a game for Liverpool, that if you can’t do by your twenties you never will

Regarding our players that signed. I personally think Kerkez once hes settled will become a very good player.. hes only 21.. Ekitike looks an excellent signing.(just wish he would shut his gob he talks too much)
I have my doubts on Wirtz, i just think hes one paced.. Frimgpong has not any chance to show anything yet due to injuries.. Isak no preseason and now a niggle. and poor Leoni got that terrible injury.. I would consider loaning him back to Italy when hes over his injury.. get back in the grove..cause its not easy coming back into the PL.. so maybe 2 years before we see him again.

I have the same feeling with Kerkez. So far he's liked a poor man's Alberto Moreno!

I still think Wirtz will come good.

However, what I will say, it's difficult to judge players accurately when they're playing in such a disfunctional side. Had we signed Mo, Mac and Virg this season and seen how they've started the season, we might have been having similar doubts about them.

But there will come a point, where there might be case to be made that some of the new plays are cause the dysfunction...

Kerkez looks really out of place , but the main play for me at the minute is McAllister , I had to think yesterday what did he do the last few seasons that made him a great midfielder as he is so far off it , I’ve seen loads of comments his legs have gone , he is 26 ! I can’t remember what he massively excelled in

We've signed loads of poor players during the PL era, but even when we've had a fair few of those players in the team at the same time, our best players still performed to a good - high level.

Currently effectively all of our players are playing poorly, including those who have in previous seasons still put in good performances when some of those around them haven't. There is only one unifying factor that would explain why we've been so poor in every area of the pitch, and that's Slot and perhaps his coaching team.

I would say Szoboszlai, Alisson when fit and Ekitike all get a pass, they have been at their best levels more often than not.
Gravenberch and Gakpo probably best of the rest but in general there have been way too many players massively underperforming.

The manager can most certainly fall into the latter category too.
