We can at least agree on that.
Whether or not you believe it. That's frankly speaking your issue.

Also, you can't say he "...never said it" and then immediately after that, claim that what he said when he was at Bayern (which was EXACTLY that) is "toilet paper".
It's one of those contradiction yourself type situations.
And you're only doing it because you know I've shown you that exact quote on these boards.

In either case, your contention is that he wanted to stay and either was pushed out or was made to feel unwanted.

As I offered you before, if you have a quote from him substantiating that assertion (...."toilet paper" or not) I'd love to see it, as I'm sure most here would.
It would put more meat into your argument.
    ...and make it less......"toilet paper"

    Otherwise, you're making it up.
    Plain and simple.

You can't be of the position that, ...."I don't believe what he said about what he wanted simply because he said it when he was at Bayern", ........while you're incapable of finding anything - whether it be from before or after he joined Bayern - that supports your claim the "felt" the way you claim he did.

Again, not exactly the type of thing that players historically have a hard thing stating after they leave a club, and we have several players in our recent and not-so-recent past from our own club, who've openly stated that they left because they felt unwanted.
    Jordan, Mane,...and on and on.

Diaz is not a shy lad.
If he truly felt that, and said it, I'm sure it exists and I'm sure you'll find it and post it here because you don't like to look like the sort of person that makes shit up about what's what and feed everyone here, (**checks notes**)..... 'toilet paper'.

Anxiously awaiting with bated breath at the edge of my seat.
No... I don't know what he said.. you seem to... or perhaps you are swallowing what the club has tried to plant in the media.

What did he say and when did he say it? Also why did he say it..?. Do you have the quote ? Native tongue or translation?? what was the context? deliver it all or shut up

This is the only quote I have seen and it is inline with what I have said and is categorically is not someone saying they want to leave.

"We are currently in contact with Liverpool, because we are talking to clubs, and that's normal given the transfer market that's opening. We're trying to arrange what's best for us." He also added, "I'm very happy at Liverpool, I've always said so... If they give us a good renewal or I stay there for two years, I'll be happy. Now it's up to them."

Soon after this is was apparent Liverpool FC would not meet what he and his agent believed to be fair..

And once again anything he says after his decision is made and his agreement with Bayern is ongoing is clearly not to be taken seriously.

And yes I’d have not spent over 100m on Wirtz to change from a system that saw us consistently finish top 2 and blatantly robbed of 2 titles by FAPGMOL and we’d just win the league with

While selling the best actually winger we had that would perfectly suit & compliment the skills of the player we were buying

I’d have not bought 2 No9’s to move to a new system either ffs

Do these ppl need a book of famous Shsnkly & Paisley quotes that Jurgen strictly adhered to, to understand what makes a title winning club

Start with “If it ain’t broken don’t fix it”

    Then follow up with

“It’s not about the long ball or the short ball it’s about the right ball”

Fucking fuckwit cunts including Slot and his Dutch tappy crappy wankfest style even Guardiola dropped after 19-20

Slot and those pricks in recruitment have destroyed our title defence in the most unforgivable way contrary to every great rule the success of this club was built on

Quansah wasn’t replaced so we now need to play a midfield player at cb to rest or drop konate. Ekitike was a good signing. We should have got someone to take some salah minutes and if he had a problem with it he can feck off. One thing I reluctantly admired about Ferguson was the ability to make iconic players see that they weren’t bigger than the club. We ain’t doing that. All in all a fucking mess of a window.

But still there is the chance to supplement the quality player we got with someone steel in next windows and by next season be back looking strong. We don’t need to spend mental money in next couple of window. Just add the right ingredients. Some legs pit wide and some power in midfield and a good cb.
Absolutely. We didn't really need to spend mental money this summer though. We've just spent like a kid in a sweet shop buying stuff we want rather than what we need.

The shirt is yours until it isn't. And at the moment very few could whinge if they were dropped for a sustained period.

It’s utter baloney and typical of the bullshit that clubs push through the media regarding a player they have chosen not to comply with.

Except he LITERALLY said he wanted to leave and seek a new challenge with Bayern.

I asked you before whether you're calling him a liar for stating this as you seem to know his intentions better than him, or his stated opinon, but oddly you've declined to answer that.

That’s the reality. This in no way means he should have left and is a clear indicator that he would have been more than happy to stay.

We are questioning WHY the club allows arguably our biggest threat to leave.. why they did not offer him that deal… And we know…it’s primarily their model
That may all be true, but none of it undercuts the stated FACT and position - as I've pointed out from the beginning,....

.....that he wanted leave,.....based on his own comments and what he's literally said about his departure.

Both things may be true, by the way.

It could be that the club didn't think he was worth what he and his agent were demanding in contract negotiations, and either as a result of that, or as a result of that and the fact that Bayern then came in with what he and his agent thought was better for him, he then decided his time here was done and made the decision to leave himself.
    (i.e. not being forced out).

    And why wouldn't he?
The Bundesliga is a less demanding league for someone that plays the way he does. Kane is the main man there, so there would be less pressure on him to carry the team as an attacking threat, and if he's being offered close to what he wanted,...why not?
Plus, two of his closest mates here weren't going to be here in this season with Darwin also leaving for Saudi, and the tragedy of Jota's passing.

He's still making the decision to leave, either way.

    His decision.
    Not "being forcecd out".

A few of our players look like that. For me it's too much of a coincidence for there not to be an identifiable reason as to why our players have dropped off a cliff in terms of effort, composure, fight, unity etc. The one thing that connects them all is Slot.

I still don't agree that we've recruited poorly. They haven't all worked (yet) but that's a different argument.

Nunez and Jota had to be replaced and were.
    Eliiot was replaced by Wirtz
Robbo absolutely had to be replaced and was.
Kelleher and was Quansah was relpaced
    Trent was replaced.

The only one that wasn't was Diaz, but as mentioned, him not being replaced isn't the reason we're in the situation we are.

I could agree with you, if we showed the slightest inclination that we cared about the result.

Absolutely. I said after Real that the difference between that and Brentford was night and day. Today was an eclipse again.
City were not even that great, we were incredibly poor and did not compete.
The lack of pace and guile in the final third is ensuring we're not getting results when we play badly, there was plenty of that last season. It's dried up right now.
5/6 defeats in the league is shameful from every one of them because we've 100% deserved to lose every one. No "we were unlucky", we've been fucking shocking and it's not just a "spell".

Yep that's what I'm thinking too.
For there to be a continual theme in those defeats comes back on him. We're continuously losing to teams who are simply outworking us and that's not acceptable at all.
Regardless the buck stops with the manager, that's football and if we continue at this rate he won't see the season out.
