I don't really care whether you think it's toilet paper or cardboard.
I told you he said it.
I quoted it and provided the source.
And now in an inability to deal with reality and having something proven to you, you've decided to attack the source.
In this case, Diaz himself (as those are his words).

Glad to see we've finally got to the point where you're essentially calling him a liar.

We took the scenic route, but we got there in the end.

And for the record, I don't think he cares what you think about what he said and why, either.

Oh and I never said he was pushed out either - this reads like an invented narrative to try and make your claim more valid.

    Read Millers post

    Someone's definitely playing stupid here.

Steveo: "Hey You! Prove that Luis Diaz wanted to leave.
(and don't ask me to prove that he left because he felt undervalued or pushed out - even though that's what I'm suggesting)"

(Quote provided with Luiz Diaz stating his reasons for wanting to joing Bayern and why he chose them. Nothing mentioned about salary demands not being met at LFC, or not being appreciated.)

Steveo :"Toilet Paper!!! Not worth anything!!!"

(So you're calling him a liar?)*

    Steveo : "........"
    : "SomethingSomething**FSG Suck*SomethingSomething"

    Wash.
    Rinse.
    Repeat.

(*(Who knew that comments made after one joined Bayern automatically made them "toilet paper" and made the person stating them liars? Huh. You learn something new everyday.)

Gee, if only there was some way to know some other possible reasons Diaz might have left LFC for Bayern for - beyond wages - that didn't make him seem like some greedy mercenary.

    Oh well,.....

    I guess we'll never know.

My own literal first comment on this. And everything else I've said or argued after has been to underline that fact.:-

Thank you for admitting something I originally stated and which you're now confirming is an inarguable fact,..... I guess?

I didn't bring money or wages into this.
    You all did.

So to the degree that anyone was or is suggesting that what he did was for mercenary reasons, it certainly wasn't me who wasn't talking about wages but only pointed to what Diaz himself said about why he left.

I also didn't deny that the wages situation probably played a part in that decision.
But,..."wanted to leave",......"chose to leave"....facts already confirmed now.
Which is what I orignally stated.

We should have offered him more then we did.. That is all

Except for the part where he stated that he'd be "happy" to see the final two years of his contract even if contract negotiations failed - a quote that YOU provided:-

"....If they give us a good renewal or I stay there for two years, I'll be happy."
    Ostensibly, also his own comments,.....
But I guess since we consider him a liar now we should probably take that with a wheelbarrow of salt.

And it is toilet paper. Garbage in fact - the timing - as everyone knows totally negates it of any meaning. Are you quite sane?

NO player arrives at a club saying "I'm only here because my old club wouldn't pay me the wages I am worth"

Sorry what has been "proven"... the words on why he came the new club he arrived after he arrived? DO we suppose that Ternt in 5 years arrives at say Aston Villa citing the move as something he really didnt want but has accepted as it's the only way he gets the salary he deems himself worthy of? CD the above is all based on your inability to accept reality. No player in history ever arrived at a new club saying I didn't want to be here.. Please show me one..

And once again - provide us with that quote. showing his initial intention to leave BEFORE his negotiations with us broke down... you can't because it does not exist..

Oh yes... again - for the fella that keeps digging We are all wondering why Diaz doesn't say - you know what fuck it - I don't care. about my career or myslef..

And Steveo told you all the club was gearing us to accept the sale of Diaz this summer Steveo told you it was a massive mistake... It's turned out just swell hasn't it.

You are a special case CD -- you really are..

Wasn't it Steveo who said Diaz wasn't the same player after the knee injury??

Anyway back on topic, Slot wasn't the only 1 who got it tactically wrong against City.. Jurgen did as well. Pep often played Silva deep in midfield and allowed him to dictate midfield and the movement of cities play.. We struggled to pick him today. And have previously..
Most teams need width to stretch the play and make the opposition move around more,We had none today.. It was never gonna work with Wirtz,. You cant play off someone like him.. he doesnt break play..he doesnt run.. if he does he loses the ball.. Sorry to keep mentioning him.. but his signing as not helped us at all.

I think you’ll find almost everyone said he wasn’t the same player after the double knee injury and they would all almost universally be right. He only really started looking more like his pre injury self last season. IF you were watching that is…

He is or pretty soon going to be 30 years old. Theres no way most teams would turn down 70 million pounds for someone whos also as 2 years left on their contract+ they were never going to give him more money. the money that he wanted that is. Not after they gave Salah and Virgil their contracts.

Whos to say he would have performed any better anyway? We seem to be in a daze at the moment.. You find with teams if its not clicking in 2/3 positions it impacts the whole team.. Thats why you often hear about teams being in form.. It comes and goes over a season.. Who knows how long our poor form will last. I would be personally happy with champions league qualification for this season..,Not easy to win consistently. we had a good spell last season.. and it won us the league. we just got to get back to winning and find a formula again.. Maybe too late for the league.. but lets just win games.

Nobody can say that with certainty.

I think it’s more than just 2 or 3 positions though. That stat that we have lost 40% of our games all comps since exiting the CL to PSG is damning, It’s not just this season is it. That’s lots of games across both.

Let's just win some games is right. In theast 6 league games we have 3 points. Only wolves (2 points) have got less points than us. That's mental. After the international break we need to go on a run or slot could be in serious trouble.
