I disagree on Nunez. He scores many more with City imo - gets better chances delivered by better technicians, more opportinuty to develop the composure he so desperately needs..

Well even 22/23 he scored 19 goals still average rating was 6.66 ! that's how many chances or fucks up he did I guess.

I just think if you're going to have a player like Coutinho,Wirtz,Silva etc etc, rest of the team needs to be solid, and you need a no6.... and work-rate needs to be good

I think city are a good team to look at because Haaland isn't exactly the most defensive of forwards either- works hard off ball making runs etc but you wouldn't have him playing like Firmino did.... because they can do it with Silva and Haaland.... why can't we with Wirtz and Isak... no6 is important- So yeah if any team we should be looking at, it's city.

I feel like UTD are a good example of this, they're doing better now and Casemiro has good form come out of nowhere and started playing damn well for them, but that team isn't balanced either, they desperately need another midfielder, Casemiro getting on..... you can't just have Fernandes in there, they need a DM too, at least more energy to support Penandes

Think Coutts was way different - had so much more in his locker than Wirtz on the ball. Make a fool out of 3 or 4 players than smash one top corner.. Utter match winner. Shame he never got to play in a Liverpool side that had the solidity via Virgil - Alisson and Fabinho... or with both bombing on FB's
Wirtz - from what I see has great vision and is decent in tight spaces.

But he does need equally clever players with him - Fernandes is a good example. We don't have a mid like that - nobody that slick or technical.. Wirtz would benefit playing with someone like that.. but that means a change for us..
